Brushing with a hydroxyapatite toothpaste, regular flossing and tongue scraping are all helpful. Reduce sugar intake and eat more probiotic foods like kefir and sauerkraut. I just learned there are probiotic mouthwashes also, though I’m not yet sure sure yet how effective they are.
It would be one that doesn’t kill bacteria but that’s usually the main purpose of the mouthwash. Tongue scraping is pretty effective though and then maybe a breath spray if you want to add something that smells good.

Hydrogen peroxide is probably a little better but would still be altering the microbiome within the mouth in a potentially negative way. If you’re still wanting to mouthwash, doing so less frequently may offset some of the negative side effects. Those who used mouthwash twice a day had more negative impact than those that did so less frequently.
