UNWENE DOCU BEYONCÉ DOCUMENTARY ABOUT HER PLAGIARISM & RENAISSANCE ALBUM, TOUR & STOLEN CHOREOGRAPHY & LYRICS THROUGHOUT THE YEARS jay z Grammys album of the year Taylor swift Lana del Rey sza SOS
You know, I hate to compare the two (because I love both) but this is definitely true. Don’t get me wrong, a lot of Michael’s art was inspired by others as well (just as any other artist) but the man was heavily involved in his work. I mean, the way even he talked about his passion for music…I just can’t even put it into words. He definitely came and served his purpose.
@@Kamkammmmm I agree. It always irked me when Beyonce would just slap her name on the credits but cannot explain the art as in depth as the so called co-writers.
Because Whitney Houston was just a voice. She didn't take part in creating her actual music (outside of vocalizing). So, she didn't have to worry about that. A better example would be PRINCE. He did EVERYTHING, and never was accused of stealing.
Yet was never pulled into court for theft. What’s all these other artist excuse? If you are a true writer /producer you shouldn’t have to steal. I find it funny how Yal claim Houston just a singer yet she played piano, sight read and could actual read music. All things MJ, Janet, Mariah couldn’t do
I always hated how Beyonce claimed to have written everything and done all her choreo until the exposing started. She cancelled many songwriters in the industry for speaking out.
she hasnt cancelled anyone… or tried to silence them either. if anything she wont let people speak on her name in vain with false accusations… if anything she goes out of her way to make sure everyone is accredited… look up the renaissance collaborators
@@diegoblair3545this turned out to be a lie since she stole it from a Japanese guy which has just been exposed. Beyonce has always been a lying thief!
After Jay z at the Grammys last night i had to look through the Internet for this. Beyonce if i remember correctly her last album was full of songs from other artists that she never asked permission to use so yeah
That whole Countdown music video was stolen from start to finish, even down to the outfits, hairstyles, and location! Its ridiculous. I hope that lady sued.
@@makangajulius98 I'm not sure on how to spell her name. Just look up "Beyonce Countdown stolen choreography" and the first video you will see is a side by side comparison of both videos.
@@makangajulius98 Did you watch the video? It wasn't just the choreography. The entire video concept was copy and paste even down to the outfits and hair! Its not right for a big star to steal from a smaller artist. I don't care how big Beyonce is she should have credited and paid that lady! Imagine if you created something and then someone famous person came in and took your idea and profited off your work and tried to make it seem like it was theirs. You would be pissed!
I didn't realise this is such a small channel! I have binge watched your videos today! I wish they were all as long as possible, and wishing you all the best! Thank you ❤️
@@Cuddapotato And that Beyoncé refuses to allow Azealia to collaborate with her. I’ve been a fan Azealia’s music since 2012, but I tend to tune out her hot takes. Anywho, _Azealia doesn’t lie_ until she comes for your fave.
I wish I could count the amount of current singers that have stolen beats/samples from small DJs that have been around longer than these people have even been alive. The City Girls, Cardi B, and Nikki Minaj have all done it numerous times, and never given the credit due to the artists, or even the regional cultures that the music comes from. I guess when you have 6 writers, and 9 producers, it gets hard to do those kinds of quality checks. That said, I do think Beyonce sings beautifully, but pop music isn't exactly known for its originality or creativity. Pop Music is just a consumer product.
Here's the point ! There's nothing wrong for being influenced by other artists! As long as you make it your own. Whitney Houston covered Chaka Khan's I'm every woman. There's quite a big difference between two versions!
I know what sampling is and I know what crediting the writers is. My point is incapable of producing originality. You think Adele or Gaga needs to use others leftovers to make an original hit?
@@keithk2879 oh come on now, we're going to pretend like every Beyoncé song is sampled? & Adele sings the same type of songs all the time, maybe she should try sampling now and then 🤣
The dancer or choreographer Anna Theresa comment that its plagiarism and they didnt bother to hide it. I agree. I've heard about Beyonce stealing dance moves before. Beyonce is such a great dancer she knows damn well she could have doctored them moves up to make it look like her own. She shouldnt do the EXACT same dance moves she's "inspired" by. Put a little beyhive honey on it and make it your own.
She even stole her hairstyle and the color scheme of the video, the setting, the way the camera moved through the rooms. It wasn’t the moves, it was literally every aspect of the video.
@@ceeceetracey9839 but when you’re the number one pop star in the world I mean 🤷🏻♀️. I think what rubbed me the wrong way was the response like “yeah it was *obviously* an inspiration.” Like, no bey it would’ve been an “obvious inspiration” if you credited her in any way, not just steal it and then act smug and like everyone should’ve just been aware of her already instead of using your huge platform to bring attention to an artist who you obviously admire enough to steal from but not enough to throw a bone to…
@@SteenyBean Amerie! She deserved so much better! And yes the 70s vibe definitely gives Amerie. My dad got me her CD when I was growing up, it was one of my first and I still think she should’ve gone way farther, although success in music doesn’t always bring joy in life so maybe it was for the best.
sorry but the fact that she came back with such a basic house beat, with 0 experimentation of a new sound says a lot of her as an artist. iam starting to think she is serously over rated.
The fact that she can STILL come back and shake the world says a lot….simplicity is key…with 28 Grammys she doesn’t have to do a damn thing for real….this chick been poppin since 95
I'm unimpressed as well with the song. Especially being that I'm older so I've already heard the song and the beat. I like the groove but I've already partied and danced to it back in the early 90s.
From my experience of just loving music, from Quincy Jones to Lauren Hill they all do this same thing. I don't think it takes away from their talent. If I recall correctly, Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones had some issue pertaining to written music and Barry Gordy has been accused of this same thing. I still love them all. dana t.
she used to copy Shakira's style, she copied a part of the video of Ciega Sordomuda, when Shakira fell in prison, Beyoncé did it on her Ring The Alarm video and Shakira also use to grab her mic backwards with her hand raised when singing some songs live and Beyoncé ripped that too on one of her live performances
" But, if you're thinkin' about my baby It don't matter if you're black or white" Black or White by Michael Jackson... NOW listen to Beyonce "Texas song" or whatever name and you will HEAR this part there .😉 You´re welcome.
My queen after stealing: "I was inspired" 😂😂😂 But I mean... She just knows how to present it well? Love Drought is one of my favorite songs and I couldn't imagine it presented in any other way. Sorry to the other girl though
A lot of artists steal. Simply copying an idea verbatim. One should at least pay the artist who created it. That's not quite how rich people operate is it? It's difficult when you're small and just hanging on and then someone huge comes along and decides to just take. I've always seen her as a performer. Never for a moment thought she was sitting down at a piano and writing her material. Or choreographing her dances. Especially not that, because you can tell they're carefully rehearsed. Shes isn't the best dancer on stage. Isn't this very typical for most pop performers? Someone very attractive. Behind a team is working. Look at the production value of her videos. It's honestly amazing.
BO DEREK ON A PLAYBOY ....BEYONCE IS A MOM , DOES SHE HAVE TO DO THIS ?THIS IS NAUGHTY..WHEN HER KIDS GOING TO SCHOOL , WORK ..EVERYONE TALK ABOUT IT..THTS EMBARRASING FR A GROWN UP WOMAN.
This is no different from the Britney's and the Bieber's even Michael Jackson discography is full of sampled songs. Why is this so noteworthy when a black woman does the same thing every single other popstar does. People only come for Beyonce because she's the best. To this day, many have tried, but none of the girls are competing with her on a performance level or a vocal level. This is a woman who outsung Celine on stage, can sing operatic, go hours dancing at 40 and still have substantial breath control. While the Ariana Grandes can barely hold a whistle in their prime 20s. Beyonce's praise is well deserved. She's not Michael. But damn if she's the ONLY artist of this generation who even can try to keep up
@@agtl3168 No he didn't lol. you can go online and see the number of samples a artist has used and what artist has used their music as samples. MJ was not a sampler 90+ percent of his production was indeed original
The problem here is that she's not a starlet, She's a superstar, and people look up to her. Being original, creative and honest artist is a big deal. This is what her father has inculcated to her in the beginning of her career.
