Lift every voice and sing is the black national anthem. Every time I watch people react to this most people don’t know what song that is. I remember back in school. They used to play that one instead of the traditional one in February but they don’t even celebrate black history anymore in schools.

Fun fact: Beyonce is the highest rated Vocalist of the 21st century by vocal critics. She’s a STAR rated vocalist and so was Whitney, Mariah, and Aretha. Shes also ranked 8th greatest singer of all time by Rolling Stones. (Thought she should be top 5) Any singer, vocal coach, vocal critic KNOWS Beyoncé is one the greatest vocalists of all time. Her vocal ability was praised by every vocal legend old and new you can think. She was MJ and Prince’s favorite. She was Whitney’s fav new R&B singer, Mariah loves her. Majority of the general public also knows this. However ppl like to downplay her. But she properly rated where it matters and underrated by a percentage of the general population. Yall gotta get into her vocals man. It’s really a treat every time. Always something new. And NEVER misses a note or a beat. She only gives flawless vocal performances which is part of why she’s STAR rated. She’s IT. Ppl literally study her vocals and have studied her to learn to sing. Ariana Grande studied her and Mariah to learn.
She isn’t underrated, the minority people who say she can’t sing are people who simply don’t like her, it’s the just the typical go to insult, if I didn’t like Robert de Niro for example, I would probably say he can’t act or he’s overrated lol. Those people want to humble her because they hate the praise and success she has accumulated. But she cannot be humbled and it angers them. But yes one of the greatest vocalists of today, greatest female performer and arguably greatest performer of today too. Definitely 1 of 1. 👏🐝
I may be in the minority here but I love this fan video. It’s by Maverick (youtube.com/@Maverick4king?si=7mkL95NmlEd4GZYE) they travel all over the world filming Beyonce and have dozens of quality fan made videos uploaded to their channel( Beyonce recently flew them out to her London Renaissance film premiere). I actually watch this more than the documentary because it’s nonstop performance.
