The sad part is the people who are the makers of these social platforms knew that this was social engineering and would change the way humanity for the worse and they did it anyway.
I know. This is why so many people have to be careful what they do on social media these days. People can be so quick to jump into conclusions and assume the worst in people just from one post. Now I will say that there are toxic and nasty people in this world, but people can be so mean and so unfair to the people who don't deserve it and that upsets me.❤
@@naniejai796 im saying kardis music is trash and that ppl Only like her because of her personality.💀 u fool. Thats what that has 2 do with this. Durrrr estuipda 💯
And the albums most people are putting out are more like a collection of songs rather than a real album. It’s sad because a real album really makes you connect with the music.
@@osman1669 I be wondering how y’all know this information😂. Like who told you? Yourself? If you gone be into conspiracy theories make sense. Because everything you see ain’t true
And this was WAY before tiktok. I feel like what she says here is like 100x more now. We barely have the big artists or songs that there’s an excitement about when people get together. Nowadays it’s that trendy two sentences or words that wash away by the next one the next week. I miss the 2010-2017 vibe
2010-2017 has not been that different, at least in terms of "short-living" celebrity hype. TikTok didn't exist for most of the time and Instagram wasn't so big as it is today. But I remember reading tons of magazines in my childhood and teenage years about "celebrities" and their dating life, made up drama, etc.. In my opinion, these 2010- years led up to the sort of social media industry we have today. Its more the pre-internet times that produced real artists, and those who started their careers in the early 00's (Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and others), they are suffering today from this pressure to permanently trend and to stay visible in both their personal life and social media- at least that's how I see it. Tragic.. Its what Beyonce describes here about Nina Simone. Fame and success for ones music only has become so rare today, if it has not completely vanished. (My apologies if I sound angry, I was more responding to your comment than disagreeing)
@@felicmarisonn8858 only access I had was the magazines at the stores I like to keep the mystique going about the industry, that's why I don't follow them on social media
This is 100% facts!!! A lot of artist today just put out quick little hits just to keep themselves going. Artists in this generation don’t take the time out to put out an album anymore it’s all about social media now. Beyonce is one of the few artist that can create a body of work. Beyoncé is a TRUE ARTIST she’s the GOAT 👑!!!
Lol beyonce is a performer not an artists. Beyonce doest write songs. You should watch a video called beyonce the biggest copycat in the industry, she is not original and she copies so many people and never gives them credit. If u didnt know the single ladies dance was copied. She has done so many bad things and stolen so many people's work but she gets away with it cuz she's Beyoncé. She is anything but original hun. The only original thing she did is the coachella performance other than that u should do ur research
norya adgh the ignorance lol she wrote dangerously in love, daddy, flaws and all, resentment, etc. Please state facts before you speak on Beyoncé, now you’re getting BLOCKED!!!!
@ not really cuz even if you aren't at the top of the music industry like Beyonce or Mariah Carey, u still can make over millions, I think the two three keys of people wanting to be in the industry is they think they have enough talent and they want money, but it's a harsh reality when they find out that it's really all about imagine and marketing more than talent
@ your soul belongs to God not you, so you can't sell it. What these artist did was choose fame or freedom and when they choose fame they sold their freedom to the public eye and to their label
Tons of artists still put out albums, at least the most popular ones do. The problem nowadays is that no one buys them anymore due to streaming and this therefore devalues them. Imagine spending months of hard work as well as money on creating songs just to get less than a penny per stream. It’s pretty disheartening.
@@Gregarious01 interviewers didn't respect her on simply asking not to ask personal qustieons with her and jay and her kids. Everytime they always asked when she made it clear she doesn't like talking about it so she just stopped doing them and putting out music . She been like since self titled
@@lisavanderpump7475 i feel like the personal questions are overly done. But nothing wrong in just keeping it cute. The audience and the interview are the ones that pick things apart for ratings
She is totally right. Watching this in 2023 when Beyonce has put out her latest masterpiece and one of her most extraordinary album to date, Renaissance - a total artistic triumph. So glad she's still making albums - she's really one of the G.O.A.T
Honestly I like how private she is like I feel the only time you really hear about her is when she’s releasing an album and then she just goes right back into hibernation for another few years lol I think she’s doing it right by not being one of those public figures that just has to expose every bit of their personal life every five minutes.
I think it's very clever also because it makes people value and want her more. The less you see someone the more you miss them. And when you do finally see them you fall in love with them all over again.
In what way did I compare her to anyone? I stated looking through this interview you can tell they are completely different people. If you may not have been aware a little over some time ago there were the press, members of the family along with Kim herself attempting to ride with Bey. This may had been due to the fact that Jay & Kanye being close She “Kim” felt that her reputation would be more superior having Bey by her side.
Facts all up in people's business to the point they feel entitled. So happy she keeps her life private and still one of the greatest performers of our time.
That why Beyoncé isn’t really hyped that people call her a queen because she got flesh and blood so she just the same as us let not put these rapper and singer on a high Pedestal
Dude what? She is probably the most celebrated singer of our generation. Her fans are the least self aware people ever. You put her on a pedestal ALL THE TIME...
@@lisakarlsson2134 I think you misunderstood the comment lol they were saying that Beyoncé doesn’t let the fact that we call her Queen, get to her head or anything like that.
I feel like Beyoncé is so real. I think she doesn't do interviews anymore because I think she struggles to be fake. I think she respects artists who are fully creative like Kendrick Lamar. They are private people and respect music too much to just put quick singles that don't reflect anything they feel. So they take their TIME! And wow how it pays off. Beyonce and kendrick new album is 🔥 I honestly wish their were more artists like them. But sadly they are to interested in making money and being celebrities. Beyonce has stayed true to being a full CREATIVE genius. I feel like if she did interviews she wouldn't be able to hold back her thoughts and would probably upset people. I'm glad she is more reserved. Love you Bey👑
Her singing at the end is so gorgeous omg I always wanted her to release 1+1 with that extra part of her just going off…it just does something to the soul
I'm a writer, not a musician, but Beyonce's creative philosophy is a huge inspiration to me. I don't think her methodology is the only one but it really resonates with me.
The media genuinely ruined a lot for us all. I wish that one day more artists release their own stories in a similar format. Their story, how they want to tell it, no interference or political message. Just them, give us a personal insight.
She is 100% right and she is the last new legend Bey is the definition of study how the greats became great because she did she that and she is doing it the legendary way❤️💯🙌🏾🥰
Beyonce sounded like prince towards the end of the video 💕but I agree, people are so obsessed with social media and other peoples lives. I miss the old days before technology took completely over 😢 I love that she keeps her life private ❤
So true! Now we have the opposite of Beyoncé with the likes of Kardashian’s who are like parasites and constantly dominate the media/social media, always involved in some drama to seek attention. The whole Solange and Jay Z incident should have been a private matter. No one needed to know about it but someone went and leaked the footage for money 💰. This is yet another reason why Beyoncé is private. She keeps her instagram professional, doesn’t follow anyone, and pretty much only posts if it’s work related or pics of her behind the scenes at an event or something.
0:20 she told the truth, and nothing but the truth. There are some artists that fit this exact description (even right now, just look at billboard hot 100s and you'll be able to pick them out)
Also, the media is one thing but when the actual artist is also doing it because they want to be or remain popular. So they do things for the gram. I think an artists should post music related images only and keep their personal life to themselves. This is why 90s was so appreciated because it was more about the music and the only way to dig deep into an artist's personal life was if you went and bought some magazine that talked about it. I remember growing up and all we cared about as young kids or young adults was waiting for the album, the little album book, a magazine cover, videos and that's it. Luckily, Beyonce has become a worldwide icon that don't have to lift a finger and post anything or do an interview. She can release her projects and they will forever be successful. Good for her!
just crazy to think how what she was saying that time about artists and quick singles- I feel like it applies even more so today compared to the time she was referring to in the interview😩
I agree with you not in a negative way. Because there’s too much evil, suffering, and death, and crime that’s the issue. If we humans don’t do anything. Will there be any hope? Hope is the only way if people wants to find light in the dark tunnel.
If you were born in the early 80s and grew up knowing the music 🎵 of the 90s then you can relate to what she is saying. We are the same generation and I feel the way pple experienced albums in the time b4 the 2010's had a better music experience that what the internet has turned into when dealing with music and how rare it was to listen and cherish an artist
Music industry is next level. Must be difficult to surround yourselves with genuine people that care about you & the voice. People are brain washed & over obsessive with artists now days. What you do & who you date is nobody's business. All because of social media. Its dangerous.
She is more beautiful without make up .She looks different without make up . Atleast we now know that there was no major surgeries it’s just make up and contour.
I will forever love this woman and her music her voice is such a soul soother she’s so humble and such a sweet spirited lady and she speaks her mind in such a respectful way lord if I can just meet her just one time I to say hi
I think now because of social media, the way fans react to their favourite artists has changed. Now fans seem to like the ability to be apart of their favourite artists world and really connected to some extent. It is both beautiful and I guess to a certain degree it can become a bit intrusive if not managed well.
I'm old school. In the best sense i don't care about finding out about anything going on in her personal life, it's all about the music. I love what she said about listening to a body of work. And if everyone chilled out like that, I bet it'd be easier for her, the one they love so much lol
This makes me so sad because it’s so true. I wanted to be a singer so bad growing up and then around 2004 I saw a glimpse of what would be the current music industry and I totally fell out of love with it.
You know looking at beyonce in thus Interview you can see she loves her craft she's passionate about her craft and she's damn good at it. It makes you understand why she does not do interviews anymore. Because she knows everyone will be all up in her biz. That's why people just make up scandalous lies about her and Jay Z. They just can't stand the fact that she refuses to respond to the rubbish and it makes people mad. She responds in her music. Every time. Listen to her renaissance album she addresses all the hating talk about devil worshipping etc... She's actually quite shy as well. I say continue as you are Bey Your a legend and you are more than enough.
That’s a good point. I see that she has a problem with people judging her life family and relationship, she wish that they would focus more on just her voice and I totally understand that because that’s the gift she’s giving, her sound! But I believe that once an audience is entertained by your sound, everything else about that individual comes alive and people want to learn more of that person and lifestyle so yea that goes with fame! All the best
Unfortunately she's right about that. The world has turned into shit thanks to social media. All I see everyday is the dark side of social media and how bad everything is nowadays. And even when it comes to music, it's not just the music anymore. It's about how you look. If "your look" is good then people will play your music more. What a fucking sad world we live in and Unfortunately it's only going to get worse from there lmao.
Smh fact's I remember back in the day it was hard for us to see celebrities everyday all we care about was they music and performances now we see them so much now and they personal life it ruined they image now for us it's crazy
