Beyond Good & Evil - 20th Anniversary Edition - Launch Trailer | PS5 & PS4 Games 

So just to clarify: we've had 3 rereleases of BGE1 before getting the sequel. Heck, most of those have come out since we last heard anything about it.

Feels like it’s been 20 years since the sequel was announced…

At this point, I'd rather Ubisoft didn't make the sequel, given their track record of late.

Such an epic adventure! That's what we want, a quality game made by people who wanted to deliver the best gaming experience possible, period. It should've stayed that way.

One of my top favourite games ever! Nothing has scratched that itch since.. truly a timeless classicassic!

Did I see Rayman in there?

They need to stop playing with Rayman fans. He’s part of the reason this company got to where it is now and they’ve done nothing but let him rot away these last almost ten years or just have minor cameos. I’d be more than happy to pay 60/70 for a new game at launch cause it’s one of the few franchises Ubisoft has that I enjoy.

They have done a remastering, we still need to know what happened with the trailer for 2, from E3 2018?

I remember the massive amount of hype around this game around release, never got to play it, excited to check it out all these years later.

Definitely picking this up

Careful: This is not a remaster of the 2003 version, but of the HD version that came out in 2011: in this version you can no longer move the camera freely when the hovercraft is inside one of these sub-levels. So you can no longer look around corners to avoid the lasers, turn the camera backwards to avoid the torpedoes and driving up the waterfall is no fun either. The fixed camera also causes some graphical errors that do not occur in the 2003 version. So this is not the gameplay from the original.

For those who always wondered if it’s pronounced “Yubisoft” or “Oobisoft”, this trailer confirms that it’s “Yubi”, since they wrote “A Ubisoft Original”. If it were pronounced “Oobi”, they would’ve written “AN Ubisoft Original”. Plus, Ubi is supposedly short for ubiquitous.

This was one of my favourite games, I hope they do justice with the 20th anniversary edition and its just not HD skin packs level changes.
