Hey! 7 here mistyped as a 1, 3 and 4. I wasn't sure about it at first hearibg the surface level descriptions, but getting deeper and looking more at core morivations of all of them has made it undeniable. Also the overarching patterns in life, regardless of relatable moments that might echo with other numbers.

Please continue making videos together. Topic idea: how to help each type! I am learning that when you help someone that you see needs help but you don't help them the way their type WANTS to be helped they don't even see it as help!! It's just pressure or judgement or shame or any other thing you didn't intend to offer them. Please help the people and come back with a new series!! 💜💜💜

Self pres 9w8 here. Also been waiting for the 7 video! There seems to be a lot of similarities between social 7 (or maybe just Kimberly's experience of 7) and self pres 9 (again, or maybe just my experience of 9). Have to work to see conflict as a potential good thing, making sure everyone around you is ok in order to be ok, focusing on how the good parts of childhood impacted you and not how the bad parts impacted you, saying you're ok even when you're not ok cause you don't want to be a burden, getting angry at yourself for being so positivity focused. Like Kimberly gets enfuriated with too many silver linings, I get enfuriated by being so agreeable sometimes - like I just wanna be REAL! I guess this all is just how positive outlook shapes both the 7 and 9 experience though with calmness and harmony shading it for the 9 and joy and happiness shading it for the 7. Any way, thanks for these videos. Have enjoyed all of them. Hope to see more of you both!

Such good points! I also grew up with a Type 9 so I'm sure that's part of it LOL. I think social 7s easily look like both 2s and 9s, because they want everyone to be okay. But my own desire to get back to the fun part is often the key motivator. Of course, when they are truly my people, it's more of a mix ;-)

I now realise why sevens are so misunderstood (last in training workshops). This really needs to be changed as I think many 7s go mistyped because of all the assumptions, stereotypes and misinformation in the community. Unbelievably I (very very very much a 7) mistyped as a 6 for THREE years, despite reading multiple books, watching multiple YT videos and hours of contemplating the enneagram. The fit wasn't great, but I just assumed that I'm a countertype or evolved or something, lol. I know when I first came across the enneagram my first thought was: "others would say I'm a 7, but I'm not. I'm not that happy. I have terrible anxiety". I struggled to see past the party animal/cheerleader/whoohoo girl stereotype. I work in higher education as a lecturer and I'm very much a head type. I even toyed with being 6w5 at some stage, but my partner truly is a 5, so I could see that that is definitely not my number. I always have fun, except when I'm expected to have fun (like bachelorette parties), so the misinformation around 7 just blinded me. I don't want to wear a costume and shoot tequilas as I was often showed 7s should be. I am so grateful that the two of you are finally giving some insight that is true, as I know that if this video was available in 2020 I would have immediately known my type. I could not believe how many parts of my story overlapped with Kim's. The enneagram really is such a powerful tool in self-management and compassion, for the self and others. I know the channel is still growing, but please keep at it. The content you produce is extremely helpful and insightful! Love from sunny South Africa

I can totally see why you typed me as a 7… I am now questioning my 9-ness.

Hahaha you scratch your nose while saying "I don't think 7 is a clown" It's lies😂 (I'm a seven but not sure)
