Haha haha! I knew this trick before I got there, so it was pretty easy for me! The hardest one for me had to be the final room.

It's one of the most beautiful OST's out there, imo. For instance, #10, Anxiety. They could have just played something a little spooky, but instead it shifts slowly to a more unnerving, encompassing, and anxiety-ridden theme. #8, Quiet and Falling shows just how cluttered and all over the place oshiro's hotel is. #18, reach for the summit has such a high feeling of hope, and plays a medley of all the previous levels, showing how you will push through it all again. #17 Little Goth is a quieter and more toned down piano, playing "Badeline's" theme (she kinda has a little melody/leitmotif associated with her, whenever you encounter her). I could go on and on about how perfect each piece is for the environment, and story. It's so beautiful.. T^T

Lukas Not to mention Joy of Remembrance, perhaps my favorite soundtrack track of all of 2019 so far.

*B:* _"Are you alright, _*_Madeline?"_* This is one of the rare few instances where Baddie actually looks _concerned._ If you look at the portrait, her brow is furrowed, but peaked up in the middle. It's a different sort of concern than you see during _Reach For The Summit_ (where she looks more nervous). And Maddie is slumped underneath the checkpoint glyph, up against the step in complete frustration and exhaustion. These tiny attentions to detail make are what push it over the top for me. I was wondering why Madeline stopped moving after the fiftieth respawn, and it helped me realise that _I_ was pretty friggin' exhausted, too. *M:* _"It's so close, but it just seems impossible..."_ *B:* _"Come on, just a few more tries."_ 9:40 hours (throughout the whole chapter) and 1987 deaths. It felt *good,* but _damn_ was I done. It's appropriate that the chapter was called "Farewell", because I wanted nothing more than for it to *go away now.*

I beat farewell twice for fun. I have over 7k deaths. I find great satisfaction out of beating something this hard

​@@soupahmario5869 Good luck. I finished _Farewell,_ not having noticed that I still had the Core B-Side to do. It was still really hard (due to the Core's gimmick), but after smashing my face against the fireballs for the umpteenth time, I remembered that I completed _Farewell,_ and I should be *unstoppable.* It wasn't a clean victory, but I did it, and it was surreal going back to it. Good luck, though. Really.

Don't know if you finished the game already, but wanted to say that I did every C-side before farewell and was the best experience I had with the game. Not only it felt like the definitive level, but it was the last and most challenging one. The pride of finishing everything with farewell was beyond what I expected. Really loved the challenge, the music, the mechanics and the emptiness I felt after finishing Celeste.

If only i didnt accidently assist skip the core....

Well, not really Saw wave is really characteristic on pico-8, and sounds nothing like famitracker's saw. Triangle is pretty similar though, I will admit

btw what did you choose on chord-wise in the bass for m62-m90? I'm still having trouble figuring out the accurate chords for that section.

@@PlayfulPiano that part seems to bounce around between Cmaj7, Dm7, Em7 and Fmaj7, with the bass being the root of the chord. the chords after that part seem a bit more complicated lol, i just went by what sounds right.

The tardigrade is already in the game, but it’s possible they made it from scratch.
