Hi everyone! I am so incredibly excited to share this one with you guys, as this is one of my favorite themes from Xenoblade and a long time coming (like years lol). This theme along with Agniratha was what made me want to play the game back in 2013. The fact that it was composed by Yasunori Mitsuda didn't hurt, of course lol.
I first arranged this for voice, piano, and strings a long time ago, two recordings of which can be found somewhere on my channel lol, but always wanted to do a really nice studio version at some point. Finally when the Definitive Edition came out last year and I heard this instrumental version during the ending of Future Connected I started transcribing it right then and there as the cutscenes were playing lol. Seeing how well the Main Theme came out I was like WE HAVE TO DO THIS PLEASE OMG!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭 So this is pretty much a straight transcription except for the parts where there's all the voiceovers near the end and I had problems picking out the individual lines so I just wrote the juiciest inner voices I could think of hahaha. I'm SO SO SO PLEASED with how this came out because as always my amazing string buddies knocked it out of the park into next week!!!! As always ❤️

NOPON ARMY FTW❤️❤️❤️❤️ also I am ashamed to say FC was when I was finally forced to figure out how to main Melia and finally discovered how OP she was lol--usually I like to run with Shulk, Sharla, and Dunban or Riki, so FC was a very pleasant learning experience for me hahaha. Also even though I know FC was Melia's story, I was more gratified to see Tyrea make peace with everything and everyone and find her place in the new world order of High Entia, I never saw her as a villain and always felt sorry for her. Really glad they gave her a proper redemption arc of sorts.

I love this rendition of the song! It's the Melia version. I love the sense of hesitation this song gives. As someone who had low self esteem when I was younger, it feels very personal to me, like wondering if people will accept me, or if it's okay to be happy. And as the song progresses, the hesitation grows weaker, and it becomes more confident. Thank you for covering this version of the song!

Yes I know about drive two, I did research, the history of the series and the creators is something that I would gladly watch in the form of a movie:) I'm currently in the woods with Citan and collecting exp so that no boss can surprise me :)

This song randomly came up on Spotify shuffle, and it caught me completely off guard. I haven’t heard it before that, but I was instantly moved by it, and had to stop working and focus completely on it. This is phenomenal! The piano intro by itself is so good, but when the strings come in, it goes to a whole other level. So much emotion and care put into this performance. One of my favorites I’ve seen in a long time. Thank you all!

I can't describe the feeling but, when I listen to this song, I start to imagine my marriage with someone like finally the most important moment of my life was became real, and it's overing. Like the credits scene of my entire life. Can't describe so good as I feel, because this arrange was so incredibly beautifull for me, that I can't help feeling when i start to listen it. I really enjoy thinking this to be the song of my entrance in a marriage of mine. Maybe in the future, it will be.
