Hot on the heels of its nominations at this years BAFTA TV Awards, we present this exclusive conversation with the creative force behind hit series Inside No. 9, ahead of it's unprecedented 6th season starting on May 10th on BBC2 and with a 7th season already in development. Joining host Justin Johnson are casting director Tracey Gillham, producer Adam Tandy and writer, producer, actors and creators of the show Reece Shearsmith & Steve Pemberton.
During the event, the team talk about the particular challenges that lockdown brought to the production, keeping last season's Psychoville twist a secret and how they keep the momentum going.

Best bloody show ever! Other than The League and Psychoville. Love Reece and Steve and their work is just the bloody best. Loved the first episode for season 6 and long may it reign. Love you guys and so glad you have been commissioned for season 7 ❤️❤️

This was such an enjoyable interview. Justin was a fantastic interviewer & teased out some intriguing insights from Reece & Steve with regard to their writing process & the limitations during Covid/ budget etc. Tracey & Adam's input was very interesting & allowed us to see the wider picture. Fabulous to hear there is a Season 7 & interesting to learn the epidodes of Seasons 6 & 7 were not necessarily written in order! I especially loved the tenderness from Reece when he spoke about the engagement of Inside No 9 fans & not wanting to disappoint. Thanks for the post! 👍

18:28 the best episode of all time. Sheridan Smith was amazing and i don’t think anyone watching it for the first time would get the ending

A much preferred format to interview the No.9 team, than say a quick, frothy interview on “The One Show”. Kevin’s look in S6 Ep1 reminded me of Roy Holder, it was fun to see the cast list and who was actually behind the mask. The twists in the plot certainly kept me guessing to the final minute.
