I recently picked this hardback up at Ollie's for $15.99. Although I wish it was the '84 NIV translation, it is a beautiful bible. I grew up reading the '95 NIV study Bible and this new update is amazing. The comfort print is so pleasant to read (I wish they had comfort print back in the 90's) and having the new articles, charts, pictures in full color really helps me to understand the time period and the original audience. I love God's word and I can't put His book down!

This is definitely among my top favorite Study Bibles, alongside Crossway's ESV Study Bible and Tyndale House's NLT Life Application Study Bible.

I have the esv study Bible and I'm been overwhelmed with all the information. But there is a fascinating thing about the archeological artifacts and life application tips. This study bible is 3 study bibles blended together ❤ 🙌 👏 I plan on buying it. Great review

It's amazing that for centuries archeology was used to refute the Bible and instead has proven that it is the Word of God, and is historically accurate. There is no truer piece of historical literature. Praise be to God!

Hey Dr.Dan, just stumbled on your sight. I’m revisiting the NIV, but the updated NIV looks very helpful. I loved my old NIV study Bible, of course I gave it away to help my prodigal. It’s worth looking at, but I’d have to go with bonded leather, too poor for upscale leather.

The CSB study Bible has many charts and great pictures, the layout is great. It is heavy. I am not aware of the NIV Starting Place Bible. Your comment is the first I've heard of it. I'll have to check it out. The NIV Study Bible is great, not as heavy as CSB but the features are more integrated with the text.

The NIV revised SB is the best to carry around. The Chronological is the best in terms of extra study material. It might boil down to which version you prefer.

I seen a guy doing a review on this bible and I think he found fault with Mathew the introduction. It said how Mathew looked up to Peter I think he said. If you could get back with me on this I would appreciate it god bless
