The NLT is a relatively new Translation of the Old and New Testaments. It is NOT A PARAPHRASE! It is nothing like the Living Bible of the 70s which was, in fact, a paraphrase of the Revised Standard version. Respectfully, 👨🏻🦳🔥 MikeinMinnesota
As a new believer (and KJV Bible preferred reader) I’ve been on the hunt for a Study Bible that could really help me both visualize and understand the often complex timeline of the Scriptures, as well as discover the best approach for it’s applicability today. Thanks to your review I just snagged a copy of this "Ultimate Study Bible.” I can’t wait to dig into it. Blessings Brother!
I started on a chronological kick last year. Did a few super quick dives into certain parts of the Bible. I’m pretty interested in this edition. The Life Application Study Bible has been a great tool for a long time for many people. Thanks for the video.
When I came upon the Ryrie study Bible, I wore mine out. I have jumped around a lot- I have lots ( my wife isn’t happy) of study Bible. But your the second pastor I know who absolutely loves the Chronological life application study Bible. Saturation into the word. Great review.
I got the edition with the cover resembling tree rings. I don't know if it represents anything in particular. But, it's eye-catching and I hope it might strike up conversations about what book it is and about the message of the gospel.
I enjoyed this version reading all four Gospels at the same time. Very enlightening. However, have learned since the RU-vid The Bible Recap is more accurate inasmuch as chronological order. Could you do a video on BR? Thanks so much for your ministry.
@@BibleontheGo iS THE BOOK OF REVELATION IS CHRONILOGICAL ORDER? Or is there books inbetween such as parts of Danial in with the book of rem\velation . Because I know part of Danial is in revelation/
Thank you Dr. Dan for doing this review. I'm going to get the nlt one, I'm worried nlt translation might be watered down cause its a paraphrase translation. I wish this comes in esv translation lol. My esv study bible is great for doctrine studying but I need practical notes and real pictures to learn.
I noticed there is always always someone who has to cast false aspersions toward the nlt. Tells me you are not really sold on your highly overrated esv. Sorry for the rant, just sick of the bible snobs trying to downplay a truly outstanding version.Toni's husband..
The Chronological Bible you have appears to be very good. But, I have personal size bibles that give the time period of the events. And some are just inexpensive paperback bibles.
