In this exciting new 4 part series, Timothy Mahoney interviews Geneticist, Dr. Rob Carter, of Creation Ministries International as they discuss the sometimes heated debate surrounding origins.
What led Dr. Carter from being an evolutionist to believing in a 7 Day Creation? With the different viewpoints surrounding the book of Genesis, why is a literal creation important to consider from a Scriptural and evidential perspective? What evidence has the scientific field of Genetics uncovered that points to the veracity of the creation account?
Tim and Rob discuss this and much more in this series. We hope you enjoy this first episode!

Everything we've learned in school is based on theory and conjecture, it constantly changes. History is, "His story". The Lord made it. He gave us the order in which He made it, and that NEVER changes. The only evolution that took place was the evolution of lies, perpetuated by the establishment. Only a fool says in their heart, there is no God.

First thanks for your work. Second (I hope this is taken constructively- not trying to nitpick…) why is there music in the background during the interview? Usually music is for intro and outro - not in the middle. If you have background music it’s usually a narration or a monologue - not a host and guest talking. Please consider eliminating the music God bless.

Believing that Jesus is God, that He died on the cross and rose on the third day does not make a person a "Christian". The Bible tells us; "Even the demons believe and they shutter"... All believing these facts does is open the door to becoming a Christian. To actually BE a child of God, saved by the blood of Jesus, you must live out a life under that blood...

@@maylingng4107 LOL... You haven't done a bit of real research on the subject, you're just parroting uneducated accusations. Jesus is the beginning of it all and those "older god legends" are the fallen angels who took for themselves wives of man, had children by them which created the "demi" gods" of the old legends. The Bible doesn't "plagiarize" anything, it explains the origins of the legends. The fact that they call Nimrod, Gilgamesh, doesn't make them 2 different stories about 2 different "mighty men", it means their language Gilgamesh meant the same thing as Nimrod...

The Bible is the word of God. If part of the Bible is not true, then it logically follows that God lied to us. Yet God cannot lie. Whatever He says immediately becomes true, AND it merges perfectly with all other truth. So the bible is true. Every Jot and every tittle. Even as improbable or impossible as it may seem to us.

In john 316 it said his only begotten son, so how is he God and Godd son, if there is a mediator between God and man, there has to be 3, us , Jesus, the father God. It says believe in Jesus, not believe that Jesus is God in human form. And what about oneness? Which one of you is correct? The trinitarian or the oneness? 22:05 Hmm....no, Adam wasn't there at the beginning of Creation in general; humans were among the Last of God's earthly creatures. Now, that whole period may be called 'the Beginning' in a loose sense, but Adam obviously didn't witness all the creative acts that took place...before he was created! In one verse, the Bible says God called the Light 'Day' and the darkness Night, so that's one definition of a day - a 12hr one. But it doesn't attempt to say how long the unformed watery planet was there before God started organizing and shaping it. What was a 'Day' before Earth was formed? What measure of Time did the Almighty use to create the Planet - which is already there in existence b4 'Day One' as a dark watery place? Why would Yahweh subject Himself to a time measure of a planet whose daytime and night hadn't even been marked off yet? What time measure did He use to create Jupiter? The other planets, it has been observed, serve as a kind of cosmic vacuum cleaner, veering deadly objects away from a collision course from Earth, so I would imagine that these were created before Earth, as the Pattern of Evidence seems to be that Yahweh prepares and sets everything in place FIRST and then, when everything is in its right place, He brings humans into their prepared Paradise. When Yahweh 'Elohim blesses Day 7, it speaks of His creating Earth and Heaven as one Day ie 'in the Day Yahweh 'Elohim made Earth and Heaven'. So that word 'Day' has a few different meanings in the Creation account, and I see no reason that Genesis' Creation account can't span untold millenniums or more up to a certain point, nevermind the Cosmos, which it's not really concerned about. The 'Heavens' are merely the Earth's atmosphere, and the stars merely become visible in it at a certain point. The details of what we call Outer Space are absent. The Creation account is quite strictly regarding God's Preparation of the Planet for Life.

Certainly, you want to include a whole bunch of animals before Adam... going all the way back to dinosaurs, right? Here's a question for you: Was there Evolution BEFORE Adam...? Here's another two: Did Evolution stop when God re-formed (as you would have it) life on Earth? ...and... is Evolution still going on today?

I'm open minded to evidence for both OEC and YEC. But to respond to some comments made in this video, there actually is evidence in Genesis 1 that could indicate long lengths of time. "Day" (Yom) can mean various lengths of time in Hebrew, and 'has' been used in scripture for periods of time longer than 24 hours. However, the argument against that is the "morning, evening, next day" language, though we also have to remember Genesis is also a form of ancient song. Whilst it's historic in context, as most of the Bible, there is also poetry and figures of speech in scripture too for the sake of human understanding. There are a lot of misunderstandings of the Hebrew text, as Genesis does not say the sun was "created" (bara) on day 4 before the plants, it uses a different word in the original text, to mean "appointed" (asah), and throughout the Bible that word means for something that already exists to be given a "meaning" or "role". And day 4 is when the sun was not said to be "created" but "appointed to be a sign for seasons" (ie, times of the year for festivals, harvests, prophetic signs etc), but before that, we already had "light" as well as "days and nights" in the previous days of creation, indicating the existence and prior creation of the sun or at the very least "light" that the plants could have benefted from, which would have been when he "made the heavens". "Asah" (appointed) is only used 'once' in Genesis 1, and it's of the luminaries (sun, moon, stars), 'all' the other things in Genesis make use of the word "bara" (created). If the author 'intentionally' made sure 'not' to use "bara" for the appearance of the sun in the sky on day 4, but applied "bara" to literally 'everything else' in the creation account, that needs to be seriously considered. Furthermore, Genesis 2:1, is a part of Genesis 1, it's been made to look like a new chapter in modern translations and formatting, but actually isn't in the scrolls. In Genesis 2:1, it says of the 7 days; "and these were the generations" or "this was the day/age" God created everything. So it's calling the days "generations" or "ages" there. When we also examine the command of the Sabbath, we're told people rested on the 7th day because it was when God rested from creation, this is often cited for a literal understanding of the creation days, however, not all Sabbaths were equal, the land for example had to rest every 7 years for 1 year, to represent the Sabbath of God. So did God make the Earth in 7 days or 7 years? We're told a 1000 years is a day to God, and many early Christians and Hebrew writers understood the creative days in such a notion. So there is more in scripture than you'd realise to point toward a long period of creation time in the song of Genesis 1. I've personally found that the order of creation in Genesis, actually matches the secular fossil record for the order of appearance of things, and this usually flies over people's heads on both sides: -Sea life and things that move in water -Birds (earliest dinosaurs were feathered bipeds, not scaled, more akin to being like giant ostriches, emus and chickens, hence being ancestors of later birds) -Land animals (the later quadruped dinosaurs and other animals) -Humanity Both the evolutionists and the Bible, have the same order of appearance of life. I do not believe in macroevolution (one species becoming another, ie; apes becoming men), as the Darwinists do, there is much evidence stacked against that, in both scripture and science now, but I'm all for long periods of time, and microevolution (adaptations and mutations to produce varieties of the kinds limited to their own). And we have genetics to prove that all humanity today came from just two ancestors (who I believe are the historical/biblical Adam and Eve, of whom I believe in literally, and were created last at the very end of what I believe to be the 'long period' of creation). But I look forward to the thoughts shared in this series.

Genesis 1:26 says God “asah” man. Genesis 1:27 says God “bara” man. But we know man was not “created” as if from nothing, per Gen 2:7, et al. Also, He “created” the sea creatures but “appointed” the beasts of the field? Can you please explain?
@ProselyteofYah
@ProselyteofYah 5 месяцев назад
@@yasminelove3665 When ashah and bara are combined, it's usually to say he was "created" by means of a pre-existing source. For example, man was "made" (asah) from the ground, and that's the origin of man, making him "bara" (created). Likewise the animals have the same description. The dirt they were made from already existed, and so God forms the dirt to make the animals. But arguably, Asah in 'absence' of bara, or in absence description of formation, could then mean to "appoint" to "make do" something with what is existing, without implying a creation event or activity. As the light to define night and day existed before the "asah" of the sun, it implies there was a source of light defining night and day, and several other scriptures throughout the Bible say the source of light is the sun. And the book of Job tells us, in the beginning God created the earth with a thick smog or cloud surrounding it, making darkness its blanket (meaning the sky could not been seen and that blanket had to be later removed to reveal the light, and eventually the luminaries). When we look to the asah of the sun, it only speaks of it "placing the luminaries in the sky above to be markers of signs for seasons" so they were "made to be signs" is what the Hebrew is literally saying, but nothing mentions they were "made from" a previous existing material as to refer to their origins.

the bible says that there is water above our sky/heaven (Genesis 1:6-8) it says that our sky is hard (Job37:18) the bible says that the sun leaves it's chambers and runs its course with joy, that the sun has moves on its circuit from one end of the heavens to the other (psalm 19). This exposition about the nature of the sun is explained in detail in Joshua 10:13; for the sun was moving its course when it stopped over gibeon for one full day. If you trust that God's word were not from the private interpretation of man but are indeed the inspired Word of God omniscient (most sovereign and most intelligent), if you believe God's word rather than NASA and godless college science then you will agree with me that the scriptures of the bible favor a geostationary earth with an enclosed geocentric cosmos rather than heliocentric globe earth copernican lie.

As soon as he said Jesus is God, you lost me. Jesus is the SON of God! Jesus sits on the right hand of God, not in his own lap. Jesus prayed to his father several times. He was not praying to himself! When Jesus was baptized, he wasn't practicing being a ventriloquist when God said, "This is my Son, in whom I am well pleased". Do you think Jesus was praying to himself in Gethsemane when he prayed "Father, if it be thy will, take this cup from me"? Who do you think he was talking to, on the cross, when he said, "FATHER, forgive them, they know not what they do"? When Jesus (God's Son) was on Earth, do you think Heaven was empty. You blaspheme God when you spread the lie that Jesus was God on earth. It is plain, in the Bible, God sent his Son... Jesus made it plain he was doing his Father's work, not doing his own work.

God created the laws of physics, so He doesn't violate the laws of physics. He just violates human's limited understanding of the laws of physics created by Him. Jesus Christ [Yahusha H'amaschiach] is God that said in Genesis chapter 1 that He created Daylight on Day 1 and it is an entity separate on its own and independent from the Sun and its light which was created on Day 4. Thus the sun does not produce the day but only rules over it and separates it from darkness. This is a sharp contrast from what is taught in Copernican Heliocentrism that exposure to the sun by the earth's rotation causes Day - and being hidden from the sun causes the night. ☀ 🌗 . Thus there are only 2 scenarios in mainstream heliocentrism regarding day and night; either we are exposed to the sun (in the day half) in which case we (immediately) experience normal UNIFORM day time or we are hidden from sunlight and in this case we experience (sudden) complete UNIFORM night time. The shade form 🌗 is always constant 365 days a year and is of uniform light and uniform darkness because of the clear and distinct core/shade line that separates total daylight from total darkness. As seen in the earthrise pictures of apollo 8 and 11 from space. So obviously, either God - Jesus Christ is lying or the mainstream science (heliocentric copernism) is. And it is impossible for God to lie. The fact that we observe the following phenomena proves the Bible true; that the Day is an independent entity separate from the sun and its light - and that the sun does not produce the DAY itself - that fact is still true today because God's word never changes. Phenomenon 1; we sometimes see (are exposed to) the sun but yet our sky is very dark and not illuminated at all and totally unlike the typical blue day sky. 🌇 Phenomenon 2; we sometimes do not see the sun i.e it is well hidden below the horizon but our sky is still well illuminated like the day time - and even more illuminated and sky blue than when we do see the sun above the horizon in the early mornings and evenings sometimes. [Please see the materials attached]. - From mainstream science (copernican heliocentrism), when we the observers are being supposedly carried by the rotation of the earth 🌎 out of the view of the sun (and the reach of sunlight), we thus enter into the dark night half of the globe 🌃 and should only experience daylight when we are re-exposed to view of the sun and its light at the Day half ☀ 🌗 of the globe. Thus if the copernican globe earth were true; [1] we should never have our sky dark while seeing the sun (daytime) 🌇 and [2] we more certainly cannot have our sky far more blue and illuminated on occasions when the sun is well below the horizon (night time) than when the sun is well above it (daytime) 🌗. [3] We also should not have our skies get gradually illuminated or gradually darkened when all the while we are being exposed to the sun [our supposed great light source] This phenomena only shows that the daylight which existed before the sun on Day 1 is a separate entity from sunlight as the Bible teaches, and daylight thus can be absent when the sun is present and present when the sun is absent. Jesus Christ [Yahusha H'amaschiach] alone is Lord.

When you look at how God is able to take bad things and bring good out of it you start to see His fingerprints all over evolution. Out of mutations, which are predominantly harmful, good things come. Is this process not in line with His character? God's faithfulness to provide for us is on display in the very process of evolution itself while at the same time not contradicting His word with regard to creation. I recommend reading Behe's book "Darwin devolves" to understand the scientific reasons that point to evolution being a process that is fantastic at maintaining life while at the same time completely lacking the ability to create it in the first place.

I'm surprised Mr. PhD, doesn't get it. He doesn't know where the water came from . . . ? God created it. (Evidently, it was liquid, before He added solid.) In the beginning (time), God created the heavens (space) and the earth (matter). He never said . . . Solid matter/dirt, first. (Liquid is, matter.)

Adam was certainty not 1st man. Scripture means what it says & says what it means. So when Jesus said from the beginning of the creation God made them male & female’ also.. ‘he which made them at the beginning made them male & female’.. Gen1:1 Mk10:6 Matt19:4 Mk13:19 Heb1:10 This act which Jesus referred was: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male & female created he them & God blessed them’, & God said to them, “Be fruitful, & multiply, & Replenish the EARTH, & subdue it: & have dominion over the fish of the sea, & over the fowl of the air, & over every living thing that moves upon the EARTH & God said, Behold, I have given you EVERY. ( Yes here it says every read all inclusive ) herb yielding seed which is upon the face of all the earth, & EVERY tree, ( Yes here it says every read all inclusive) In the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food.” Gen1:27-29 But when God made Adam & placed him in GARDEN God was very specific ; And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good & evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. & the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. & out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, & every fowl of the air; & brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: & whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. Gen2:16-19 Adam was specifically told v2:17 not eat of Tree knowledge of good & evil. Gen1 & Gen2 are separate accounts. Time betwixt these 2events remains unspecified.. A GREAT error comes when one equates Gen1&Gen2 for they are very different events Jesus was clear, For He did not say from time of Garden He made Adam & Eve. But rather Jesus said: from the beginning of the creation God made them male & female’ also.. ‘he which made them at the "beginning" made them male & female Not Adam & Eve, not from dust, not from the time of garden. Jesus meant what was said & said what he meant, Adam, Eve,& garden were not in the creation... scripture means what is said and says what it means Man in Gen1 was made From nothing Ex-Nehlio... Heb 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Yet Adam in Gen2 was formed from dust of ground & Eve was formed from Adam's rib... thus Adam & Eve of Gen2 are not made Ex-nehlio, from nothing, as were the man & woman in the beginning. Man & Woman of Gen1 were given dominion over all earth that was watered by a mist neither did Gen1 have dietary restriction as given Adam & Eve in a garden watered by 4 rivers. Gen1 & Gen2 are completely different events, scripture does not err. Jesus drew a line into the sands of time at Luke 16:16 The law & the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, & every man presseth into it. There were 4kYrs of sin prior to John. "Behold the Lamb slain from foundation of this world." When was this present sinful world founded? but in the day of ADAM'S sin. For then Adam&Eve were clothed in skin of slain lamb & a redeemer promised. there remain 3k years from Jesus death.. John 2:19 Jesus answered & said unto them, Destroy this temple, & in three days I will raise it up. The final event is specified. Rev21:22-23 & I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty & the Lamb are the temple of it. & the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, & the Lamb is the light thereof. Time between Gen1&Gen2 is Unspecified but finite. To equate Gen1&Gen2 as same events leads to great confusion There are many many facts to prove earth age is in excess of 6000Y BP, wiki article earth age completly refutes young earth psudoscience... and wiki cites just the most blatant proofs, there are others Evolution is not supported by entropy principle, entropy always increases

12:55 Biblical genealogical lists and prophecies in Ezekiel etc indicate that HUMANS are only thousands of years old. Time had to go by for Adam to feel lonely, name the animals after observing, getting to know their distinctive traits. That would have occupied much more than a literal 24hr day. It says Adam named them all...that's gonna take a whole lotta days. The Build Up to Eve's creation...How long was Adam alone? How long did it take a perfect human Son of God who could doubtless speak with Yahweh...to feel like something was missing? Today, it's not uncommon for people to go on wilderness adventures by themselves at length to just experience the beauty of Creation. Think Adam would've enjoyed a perfect paradisaic Earth with perfect health any less? He had no concept of what human companionship was, like we do. Maybe he was alone for years. Some have suggested mention of 'the voice of Yahweh walking through the garden in the breezy part of the day' refers to that particular time of day wherein God would meet with them. So Adam DID have someone else to interact with - his Heavenly Father. I dunno, I think it might have been a considerable while before Adam started to feel like something was missing.

I think the answer here may lie in "kinds". He didn't need to name robins and blue birds and humming birds and finches.. no.. he just needed to call them birds. Same for fish and other "kinds". Later on as these kinds changed over time, more distinct names could be given. That makes sense to me anyway..

I thought to be Christian is to be a follower of Christ...Christ, which means, not The Anointer -who is God - but rather the Anointed of God. Moses, Aaron, David and others are all called Messiah/Christ in Hebrew or Greek, and the Apostle Peter when asked by Christ himself who he thought Christ was, said "You are the Christ, the Son of The Living God." So Christians must believe that Jesus is the Anointed Son of God. To go beyond that is kinda dodgy. After all, Nobody anoints Yahweh, and nobody sends Yahweh, whereas Yahweh anointed and sent Christ.

The real issue here is your use of AI to produce your video format. Seriously son, did you even listen to this video before you posted it? And better yet, don't you think using ai to promote your message instead of personal effort is as leaven to your bread? Hypocrisy goes deep when mammon is on the table. It is written...🙏🔑✌️🇮🇱

Interesting that almost every branch of modern science was established by Creationists. They didn't stop there. There's no shortage of representation from Creationists in Noble awards either, or actual tangible contributions to science like the MRI machine 🫢 pesky facts

12:40 No, not the most convincing argument, because although it may be written as History, How ancient mankind spoke and thought or what was transmitted by Divine Inspiration was for a language group who thought in very very figurative ways that to us aren't always as direct as this gentleman is suggesting. Adam 'knew' his wife and she conceived. Noah 'walked' with God. The 'Sons of God' saw the daughters of men...and took them as wives. Men began to 'call upon the name of Yahweh' (apparently Not in such a good way). Eve saw that the fruit was 'desirable to make one wise'. None of these things are properly understood at face value; they all reflect a euphemistic way of thinking, and the Hebrew Bible is full of such things.

You mean the same Moses who also wrote Leviticus and Exodus and Deuteronomy and Numbers? I think he knew what he wrote and why, and who was leading him to write those things. And some things are hiden until God reveals them to us individually too. But if it is in the Bible it is tthere for a reason regardless of when it was written. Proverbs 25 2. It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.

The earth is 4.567 billion years old; it has been tested numerous times. Human species are about 7 million years old; our species (homo sapiens) evolved about 250,000 years ago.
