Yes! They’re the best. My Simon-what a personality! So so sweet and loving, loyal, very smart (outsmarted me a few times!) and oh he could be stubborn! Wonder where he got that from?!

I have a Bischon Frise and a Shih Tzu. Both are good girls, the Bischon is very emotional and needs a lot of comforting and reassurance that she is loved. If my wife and me are away and we come home the Bischon screams so loudly you swear the windows are going to break.

@@sebastian56309 🤣 I completely understand. My Bichon used to be like this too but I did a quick training with him, it worked very well. Say to Bichon “I’ll be back soon” a couple of times before you leave house, come back after few mins. Then do the same and leave again, this time 10min. Again, 15 mins. Again half hour. He will know when u say “I’ll be back” means u are not leaving dumping him as you will be back soon. He gets it after you do a bit training. Please remember don’t leave Bichon alone for too many hours. Bichons don’t deal with loneliness well, they get very anxious if you leave for too long.

@@sebastian56309 😂😂😂 No, my Bichon does not do that. At very beginning he was anxious and even had a big car sick when he was in my car. But later as I take him out more regularly, he got used to it and just quietly sat in the passenger seat and stared at me the whole way. He is pretty comfortable in the car as long as he knows I’m not driving him to any strange place to dump him. Bichon is emotionally very attached to their human and always worried about getting separated with his loved ones. So I give him lots of attention to make sure he can strongly feel my love and be less worried😊

Yes he can being alone but don't like to be alone.He love to play and be with you 24 hours at day.Somethimes is stubborn and can do something bad to punish his owner because he left him alone.

They can be left alone. I have one and she does fine by herself for 9 hours while im at work
