I was listening to this in the car in chicago in 2013. Sitting at a red light screaming at the top of our lungs as the game was tied, light turned green but no one moved, everyone was screaming in their cars as the winning goal scored. I'll never forget it!

I remember watching this and getting ready to sleep that night expecting a game 7. And I turned my back for two seconds and heard them say it was 2-2 and I sat back down and watched. Then when they scored 17 seconds later I felt a tear run down my face. I'm happy people put these videos up so I can re-live the moment like it was yesterday.

Patrick Kane: 2010, Game 6 = GW goal in OT, made the play entirely himself 2013, Game 6 = Makes great individual play to get the puck deep, set up game-tying goal w/ just over a minute left 2015, Game 6 = Makes great pass to set up GW goal, scores goal late to shut the door Best player in the world.

+Annette Skandrick 2015 - 2016, led the league in scoring, and is the FIRST American, to win the Art Ross. One of the future Blackhawk greats.

kkofthefunkoffv3 He could retire right now and be one of the greats. By the time he's done he's going to be one of the pantheon players with Mikita, Hull and maybe Savard if we count him (Savard is great but played in an era that gave really inflated scoring numbers). Kane just put up the best offensive season in team history, by a lot. Like if you look on hockey-reference, the top 10 point share seasons are all by goalies (it's easier for them to get point shares), except for Kane who's 2016 was like 3rd all time and the number one offensive point share season. Throw in the Cups and the other trophies and yea he's arguably going to end up the best player the Hawks have had, barring injuries.

First of all Eddie is the top color commentator for NBC Sports hockey. And while I think Pat Foley is truly one of the most underrated play by play announcers in the history of televised sports, you really can't make a beef with Doc His voice is great, knows how to elevate volume and therefore excitement without resorting to yelling, and doesn't play favorites. HE did a great job in this series and his call of the last 2 minutes of that game was phenomenal.

I remember sitting at home, thinking that we were going to a game 7 in Chicago (which actually wouldn't be that bad) and when the Hawks scored the first goal, me and my mom were jumping up and down like a couple of crazy people. I was hi-fiving my dad, I was getting all choked up and I was so happy that we actually had a chance. But when they scored the GWG, the whole house erupted(keep in mind that it was only the three of us). It was amazing

the years they won the cup they had a big guy and someone who wouldn't mind getting into a few fights, and the years they did not win the cup they were missing those two types of players. i know Bickell was not all that great but he was there to put a hit on someone or to have someone's back when need be, he was a good physical player and i am glad he scored the tying goal.

You don't know this Hawks fans, and you might not care, but your boys avenged the NY Rangers every season they won the Cup. 2009-10, the Philadelphia Flyers beat the Rangers on the final day of the season to leapfrog, and eliminate them. In 2012-13, the Boston Bruins eliminated NYR in the 2nd round, and in 2014-15, Tampa Bay eliminated the Rangers in the ECF in that heartbreaking game 7. Thx again!

Hockey is crazy and anything can happen in a series but I still say the Hawks got this. It seems the Ducks and the Kings pose a real threat to the Hawks because they are very physical and fast. Thankfully the Kings never made it to the playoffs and the Hawks beat the Ducks which was probably their toughest series win in this era. The others would be the Bruins and the Red Wings after being down 3-1 and winning it 2 years ago.

Nothing against John W., but when NBC takes over the playoff games, there should be a deal in place where Pat Foley takes over radio duties. For the most part, everything in recent years has been great with the Hawks organization--can't ask for much more, but I'd love to get to hear Pat call a Stanley Cup clinching game.
