Bonnie ! First of all thank you so much for making your videos , yours was the first I found in my search on RU-vid. Just yesterday, I went into my OBGYN for my yearly visit and we came to the conclusion that I may have PCOS. My doctor sent me for a pelvic and vaginal ultrasound and about an hour later she called me to tell me that apparently my ovaries look normal but that I do have a bicornuate uterus. After watching your video I really want to have an MRI done!

they should not tell you about ectopic. they should call you and say to come for ultrasound. This stress does not do well. I m crying for you. They are not professional. They can't see? Change clinic!

Sweetheart, there is no way that a pregnancy can be ectopic at 15 weeks, no way !! Ectopic means it's in the tubes. Yours was in the uturus. You didn't have to have an MRI.

Matilda unfortunately, an ectopic pregnancy can rupture at 16 weeks...they thought my pregnancy was in the uterine wall, an ectopic pregnancy is defined as a pregnancy occurring outside of the uterus...so technically if it were in the uterine wall and not inside the uterus it would be ectopic. Thankfully because of the MRI I found out the pregnancy was healthy AND I didn't have a bicor. Uterus. It was a blessing to have the MRI done. But thanks for the comment!

Hi Bonnie, I've done medical science and I know that a normal embryo implants on the uterine lining or wall. If this was your pregnancy, it was completely normal. I do think the medical staff took you for a ride because they thought you had something different they could learn from. The way they told you, you were one in 10,000 etc. Ectopic pregnancies are in the fallopian tube where the baby cannot grow and yes, it can go to 16 weeks but most often resolves way earlier. Normal pregnancy occurs when embryo attaches to the wall of the uterus (that's where he/she hangs on). Sometimes they take people for a ride or they are just learning. They knew for sure where the embryo was from your scan. There is also a risk having so many MRIs while pregnant.

Wow, are you a doctor? I wish I would have met you prior to the 6 physicians, 3 hospitals, and 1 giant headache...you over 6 doctors tell me I didn't need the MRI...all wasn't needed...well at the time I had multiple people telling me I could have major problems including death, if I didn't choose the MRI.

sorry, Xrays pose a risk, MRIs are safe. However, like I said, they knew you did not have an ectopic pregnancy, that shows up on a scan. I think they were looking at the shape of your uterus for more details with the MRI. Though you did need closer looking at because of your symptoms and losing one of your twins. sorry if I confused you.

A cornual pregnancy is still very much considered to be ectopic - just as you said - ectopic simply means in the wrong spot. I have been told my pregnancy is quite possibly cornual. I wasn’t offered the mri and instead had to have a laparoscopy to check for bulging and signs of uterine rupture. That was at 8 weeks. I’m now almost 10 weeks. They haven’t ruled it out and I have to have weekly scans. I’ve also been told that I have a heart shaped (bicornuate uterus). Your video was like you were telling my story. I’d love to know if you had your baby girl. After all you went through I am so praying you did.
