Awesome video. We just visited last month from 4 states away and fell in love with the place. Lunch at that sandwich shop is a must! I was surprised how quickly the lavender colors deteriorated by August. We were there on 7/21 and the colors were popping. Probably why no charge here! Still worth the stop.
Glad you enjoyed the video and had a great time on Washington Island. It is a great place. We were surprised that there were even any blooms left on the lavender at the end of August so it was a pleasant surprise. We will have to go back in July! Thanks for watching!
Pleasant video. Liked the bee and the butterfly. Also liked your wife with the long billed hat under her helmet. I've used a long billed hat, no button or buckle, for sun and rain protection for many years. Maybe a bit dorky (say some friends) but after trying so many other more expensive methods the hat-under-the-helmet worked best. Village Hat Shop/amazon. Enjoying all your videos. Also extended handlebar stem? If so, I'm doubly feeling ok as my Trek 520 & Soma San Marco both have long stems.
So funny, I did not realize Julie was wearing a hat under her helmet. She tried on the Da Brim sun visors that attaches to the helmet but did not like it if there is any wind plus it looks a bit dorky. I wear a hat from time to time, but as the temperature rises I find the hat makes it hotter. I will have to check out the Village Hot Shop. The handlebar stems are the standard ones on the Citizen folding bikes (Gotham 24/7) we are riding in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GQ1vG0aSeRU.html. I do use an adjustable stem extender on my Trek bike with good success. Glad you are enjoying our videos, thanks for watching.
