I'd say you are probably the best auctioneer instructor on RU-vid because you are very thorough with your instruction making sure we get it. Thank You.
I’m 26.5 hrs away from auctioneering my RV Club’s fundraiser. I’ve been watching Bid Calling vids on RU-vid, when I realized this is going to be a lot harder than I thought. Meanwhile, at 75 yrs old, I’m wishing I would’ve started YEARS ago. Anyway, your videos are the best I’ve found for actually learning how to build a chant. I’ve been practicing all the time, trying to get a clue and sound more authentic. My wife is ready to leave me. The final straw was when I tried to auction off her bras to her, one at a time. Anyway, I just wanted to thank you for putting these out for us aspiring auctioneers, even if we will never go full time. Appreciate what you’ve done here, a lot. Thanks, Larry Rice
Was very happy to see a new video. These are so well done, and I really enjoy them. I've heard the phrase "sell from your diaphragm" in other videos, but didn't really understand how to do it. The small tip of actually putting you hand on your stomach to give immediate feedback on breathing was great. Using this feedback technique resulted in my being able to control my breathing, and not hold my breath so to speak. I now understand how to breathe, and call, at the same time. Thanks again for taking the time to share some of your hard earned insider information with people that are interested in these skills.
Thanks Tim!! Ya breathing is still something I struggle with personally. I've noticed going back and editing my videos that I ping pong back and forth with controlling my breathe and not wasting air. It's a goal I have written down and will continue to practice. I watch Ralph Wade and i swear he takes 1 breathe and sells at 90mph for a minute uninterrupted before he takes another. Thanks for all your feedback, it helps me to hone in and think of more ideas/vids.
I'm in the last stages of auctioneer school. Our instructor was showing some videos of calling. I found out that about 4 people in our class found your videos and are using them to learn and practice. I'm doing so now as well. Thanks a bunch
You're videos are the best on youtube! I'm not an auctioneer with no plans to be one. But I always wanted to learn. I really enjoy practicing with your videos. Thank you! 🙂
Thanks for the compliment Jenny (Forrest Gump voice popped in my head haha). Im glad you're enjoy the practice and it never hurts to learn a new skill!!! Welcome to the Syndicate.
@@AuctionSyndicate LOL....so many names have been "ruined" by movies and TV. When South Park was the hottest show on cable, I had to live with being called "Ti-May!" for years.
Great video and very informative. Packed with good bid-calling practice while still somehow still being easy enough for beginners. Time for your next video soon, I think. ;D
Thanks for the love Ashley. I see you've been "Happily Hunting" at the thrift stores and a few Estate Auctions. Keep up the great work with your channel. You're killing it!!!
I am wanting to get into auctioneering so this is very helpful for me. I just discovered you today not knowing anything about auctioneering besides they talk fast and already feel like I know lots I can’t wait for more videos.
I’m going to comment on your most watched video. What happened? Where did you go? Fellow auctioneer and loved all your content, where I almost sent you a video on my bid call, to see if you could help me a bit.
Dub and Jody I'm really trying. Im in a constant battle with my mind to create new and hopefully better content. I will say though, that these videos do take a lot of time to think of, produce and then edit. All while having a full time job and house. I really feel bad for not posting, but I also don't want to put out mediocore content just to say I posted this week. I hope you can understand. More videos will be coming soon. Stick with me!!!!
@@AuctionSyndicate Completely understandable. I just checked back today too, seeking another fix....LOL. Here's an idea. There are a lot of people that watch you, who are in the early stages of trying do this for real, and make a living at it. How about having some of them make a short clip of their technique, and give them some pointers, or point out bad habits, ect...? That would be insightful for many of us to see a constructive critique of a new or newish caller.
Love your channel. I'm aspiring to become an auctior. Your method is awesome listing to other chanels don't break it down simple like you do keep up the great work. Haven't seen alot of viedows from you for a while glad to see new one
for the record I'im new at this and i know this going to make me sound dumb as ever but i have a heck of a time with some filler words is it possible to practice filler words without the numbers until i feel confident enough to add the numbers and if so could you please do a video on how i can do it please
Mate I’m in Brisbane Australia And just about to start my house Auction career. These videos are excellent and I want you to know I appreciate every bit of wisdom you offer
There’s no real way to shorten it I’ve found. But one tip is instead of saying ....2 thousand 2 hundred, 2 thousand 3 hundred.... you can use 22 hundred, 23 hundred , 24 hundred
