Blame your landowner, and capitalism for your costs going up. The President of the United States does not control or set prices for rent or groceries, or anything like that. Nor does the President affect how much you make. Quit shifting the blame from the companies who have complete control over the issues you complain about.

Congress, more specifically the House, holds the power of the purse. Not the president. Secondly, the President does not have the power to stop inflation. Inflation is also not solely a US thing lol like come on now. Inflation is a global phenomenon that is consistently active 24/7. Inflation does not go away, it decreases or increases... And President Biden, through Congress, passed laws that lowered the rate of inflation in the US. But anyways, the President of the US does not set prices, period. At best, Congress can set a range in which prices can be. But even then that's on publicly dispensed goods and services. Private entities set their own prices. Owning land is a private venture. And building rental properties is again, a private venture. Meaning the owner of the land you are renting from, which is not the US government, set the price. And deemed it necessary to gouge your rent costs, and blamed it on inflation rising the costs of land they already own.... 🤨property tax rates for most states are a flat rate. Meaning they don't change, period. Rental agreements are set by the renter, not the government. And they can change that agreement at any time as long as they notify you first. And if you further agree to it, instead of moving to a cheaper location, engaging the markets, then it's on you. The renter also pays a portion of the renters property tax, but again that's a flat rate set by the state tax code. Not federal, not the president. If your rent is skyrocketing up, that ain't on inflation. The highest our inflation ever got was 8.6% May of 2022, 2 years ago. It has been below 5% since March 2023 and below 3.7% since September of 2023. It currently sits at 3.5%. Inflation is not the cause of rent doubling or tripling in some cities.
