Better idea would be to get the economy right by better policies and thereby make it more affordable for everyone. 8% interest rates are pretty hard for many in many income brackets when prices keep rising

I’m at a real estate conference right now and prediction across the board are that rates may stay up for the next 6ish months and then they will come down over the next 2 years. Can’t come down too quick or we get into a situation we were just in. But within 2 years back into the 5’s. 🤞🤞

I want to say ADU’s are outlawed in a number of Charleston area municipalities. Our condo’s on IOP and there’s been some discussion on them in public meetings. Pretty sure the beach communities don’t allow ADU’s. Maybe Charleston/North Charleston do, though.

Yeah, the ADU thing is VERY difficult around here but they are out there!
