I appreciate this vid. As an INDEPENDENT who is committed to my Christian faith (imperfectly as I go) , I am perplexed about the election. I am pro life & stuck by that even as I was a struggling single mom supporting a teen who got pregnant. The plight of the aborted, the most helpless... there aren't words for it. I search my heart as I compare it to the word & what God wants from me. This won't allow me a party affiliation. "Life" is also other ages, other helpless i.e. the aged, the infirm, the elderly. Being honest with myself, I also can't deny that the dems display far more mercy, and the actions to care for the less fortunate. While I expect someone from another country to enter legally- we were called to welcome the alien. Each side chooses to strategically leave out key points. While i don't agree with a trans life, I will stand in front of someone being bullied if it is in my power to do so. It's His kindness that leads us to repentance. So I am viewing this election like a chess game in trying to see moves ahead and outcomes based on behavior. Neutral new sources are essential to gather info. The constitution was conception of this country and the most brilliant governing document for a people of mixed beliefs. If I protect the constitution, I protect my freedom of speech, and religion etc.. If I give it away to someone who uses my people towards his agends- once there he will not need them and he will be solidly in place... the man who lauds tyrannical dictators. God can use who He wants, He used him towards pro life but I can guarantee that time will reveal that was purely a tactical move. Then NO LIFE is valued that doesn't further his agenda. Jesus is not ruling yet. I choose to protect my voice, my vote, and my FAITH. I vote to protect the constitution. There are no heroes but Jesus. I may make my own post out of the message I just wrote. God give us wisdom.

I came to know Christ in jail in 2013 by reading a book, "Overcoming spiritual blindness" by James P. Gills MD. The veil was taken off my eyes. Heaven came through for me in my finances too, getting $25,000 monthly. I can support God's work and give back to my community. God is absolutely more than enough!

I've had my share of loss, abuse and betrayal. My former husband who recently died was mentally, physically and emotionally cruel to me. My parents both had dementia, I have a sibling who won't talk to me at all and I am often quite alone. But I have never and will never turn my back on God. Prayer has been my refuge and my Catholic faith is an integral part of me. I keep in mind Thomas More who was Lord Chancellor of England but chose God rather than the King and paid for it. He died "The King's good servant but God's first".

Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. We mere mortals must look to God our Creator for His strength, His righteousness and His salvation in Jesus Christ.

As a women,I would say,yes you should have the rights over your OWN BODY. But the life growing inside you,is separate from yours.will become their own person . If only the Roman Catholic Church was as passionate about the gospel as it is abortion! Changing the law is not the answer. We as a church needs to work on changing hearts by educating young women about the ethical, biological, personal, and societal ramifications of accepting abortion as a right and a medical procedure instead of sex being I have much more importance than van the culture tries to get them to believe and that human life at all stages should be valued.

I have some first hand experience in a Christian leadership setting with someone who made the transition from politics into ministry. Not saying politics necessarily breaks all who existed in that space, but that person had some incredible cruelty in how they dealt with people. Same with those who left executive positions in big business for ministry. The evil of the world warps people, even if they have faith, if they are in those spaces. Power absolutely corrupts and destroys compassion.

Sadly, Church authorities have failed to challenge him, let alone declare him excommunicated.
