One of the things that the guest here forgot to mention, is that when Israel bombs a target in Gaza, they actually text message and call civilians that are in that area, building, target, and warn them that the attack is coming, so they can leave and not be a casualty of the attack. They also use knock bombs which just make a very loud noise, but don't destroy the target, which then tells them that a real bomb is coming, and they can vacate the area. Israel goes to great lengths to prevent civilian casualties, but the Hamas terrorists tell the people to stay, because they want those people killed just for the effect that it can have in the media. This is a war crime on the Hamas side.

@@user-go7rk2hf3q Hamas builds tunnels under civilian areas, which under the Geneva convention makes those legitimate military targets, and the Geneva convention also states that it is a war crime to put military assets in civilian areas, using civilians as shields. Israel drops leaflets days before any strike and they call and text people who live or work at those sites days beforehand (I have heard the audio recordings of the IDF begging civilians to evacuate), and finally they actually use what is called a knock bomb, that only makes a loud noise, and doesn't do any damage to the target, giving them lots of warning to evacuate. This doesn't all happen within the same day. All civilian casualties are the fault of Hamas, and Hamas is committing war crimes by putting their military assets under and within civilian populations.
My personal experience when I visited Jerusalem was that it is such injustice to Jewish that they can't even set foot in their own holy temple just because mulsims have encraoched it. Muslims can freely enter and pray at the temple mound and jews are limited to outside the wall. It was so painful to watch but it is amazing that for peace jews are willing to make such concessions in their own country. Hats off to Israeli people for being so considerate. I too visited and lived in Israel and as a white Christian (although religion is irrelevant) and was ashamed of the mistreatment of the arabs. The continued violation of their rights and control and oppression of over 2.5 million people. Excellent explanation! Judea and Samaria and east Jerusalem was also administered by Jordan from 1948 to 1967 but lost them during the Six-Day War as Egypt lost Gaza and Sinai. As it usually happens in Wars, the winner keeps it all; however, Israel in good faith to achieve peace returned Sinai to Egypt and basically let the Arabs have Gaza, Judea and Samaria. Note: Samaria is the land of Samaritans who never left the region and are still there! Despite being a Jewish State, Israel has a diverse population. There are Bedouin, Druze and Arab citizens! Also, the name of the Kibbutz lady was named Silver, I believe and I read about her and her husband's charitable work for Gazans wrt to help with health care. Years ago, when Israel administered the territories, 1967-1993, the Israelis set up hospitals and health clinics for Palestinians. I read about that.

As a lifelong learner I thought I understood the Israeli/Palestinian situation, due to the fact that it has been present throughout my entire life. I was however, unaware of the Islamic propaganda machine, which is as formidable as the Nazi propaganda machine was in the late 1930s and how it has had a perverted influence upon americans, myself included. Since the infiltration of Islam into countries around the world, it has become necessary for me personally to study the subject much more thoroughly. After extensive study of each side's histories and complaints, I have moved away from siding with Islam in every way, shape or form. The people of Gaza have been financed to such a tremendous degree from people and countries around the world, that Gaza should have become a beautiful, prosperous region that was completely self reliant. Instead, it has become a festering sore of hate, violence and poverty because it aligned itself with religious hate groups that took the money, meant to raise the people out of dependency, and used it to build a war machine to commit atrocious acts of violence against Israel. It is all in the historical records. The Islamic propaganda machine depicts Israel as an apartheid state full of arab and muslim haters. The truth couldn't be more diametrically opposed, which is again verified by the historical record. I was amazed to discover the extent of Israel's uncommon generosity towards Gaza. What other country would supply free water, food and electricity to another group of people that were hell bent on it's complete destruction? Gaza made the bed it must now sleep in. The situation Gazans now face is a human tragedy of epic proportions, very sad, and depressing to all peaceful, caring and empathetic people across the world. We were doing othing except quietly walking from one historic site to another. They knew a couple things: 1. It was acceptable to throw stones at Christians or Jews as no one in the neighborhood would stop them. 2. Christians and Jews would not retaliate despite outnumbering these boys. Most Arabs (Palestinians) in the West Bank are migrants from other Arabs states. Gazans are Egyptians. Just minority is local. Arabs started to call themselves Palestinians only in sixties after Arafat idea. Palestine is geographical term, never was a state.
Yes, there are a lot of the children and grandchildren of immigrants, but in 1948 two-thirds of the population of British Mandatory Palestine were Arabic speakers. The majority of the Palestinians today are obviously descendents of these indigenous people, unless you're going to try to maintain that they didn't have children and grandchildren. I'm a supporter of Israel, but it annoys me when other supporters think distorting history will help the Israeli cause: it won't. The fact that there never was a "Palestinian state" is irrelevant. That was because the area was just a sub-region of the Ottoman Empire. There was never any need for a special name for the area that used to be Judea & Samaria. But that doesn't change the fact that there were non-Jewish people living there, and that they had been living there for hundreds of years, so they (along with the Jews who lived among them) are the genuine indigenous inhabitants. One day, when the international community has managed to "de-brainwash" them out of their Jew-hatred, maybe they can have their own independent country, alongside Israel. Hopefully.
@@DieFlabbergast Families of those who live on that territory do not have long history. Many of them migrated from other Arab countries. Population of Gaza is 80% Egyptian. Jerusalem was mostly populated by Jews at the end of ninetheen century. Arabs have very high birth rate, so dozen of families hundred years ago could produce thousands offsprings. Israel did not drive Arabs out. Today two millions Arabs are Israeli citizens who prefer Israel over Palestinian state.
Half true . Gaza was an Arab city before it was Ottoman, British and then Egyptian. Israel took it in 67 and gave it to the Palestinian Arabs in 2005. It was only Egyptian for couple of decades
I had some sympathy with the Palestinians before 7th Oct, but it was in ignorance of the sort of facts that have come to my attention since I decided once and for all to try to sort lies from truth. Everything Mr Spencer has said is true, which I got from reading about the region and politics from non-partisan sources (at least, none openly Palestinian, Muslim, Israeli or Jewish). What I did not know was the Israel was supplying free water and electricity to Gaza. Media organisations in the West must know this so it strikes me as dishonest not to mention it when condemning Israel for cutting it off. How many countries supply free stuff to a people of whom 75% voted for a government that wishes to eliminate them? I do not know how universal it is, but there does seem to be a pathological hatred of the Jews among Muslims. Of course, not all, but a large portion definitely. Even on the BBC which is fairly anti-Israel, they find it hard to find a Muslim commentator who will condemn the actions of Hamas on 7th October.
I found my way similar to you. However, I began w a basic, but sincere support of Israel. Awareness of the truth about the true ownership of the land, long before any arabs ever lived there, yes it changed hands multiple times, it still belonged to the Jews 1st. Jews fought for centuries for the land, even more mind blowing, fought to literally exist. The land did, does, and will continue to belong to the Jews, righteously, legally. The media demonization of Israel, non stop, the equivocation that it is equal, good, right and just, for hamas & gazan civilians to enter Israel to slaughter multiple neighborhoods of Jews on October 7, 2023. Then, powerful western government leaders demand Israel not respond, respond "proportionally", to ceasefire. There is no end to the gaslighting from media, absolute lies, to gain more support form people like us, who have little or no knowledge of the truth of the middle east, hoping we will not seek to learn the truth, decern truth from lies, be satisfied to take the media lies as truth.

The attacks brought out an ugly anti-semitism that I never knew lay just beneath the surface of Europe. I actually have Jewish friends who are fearful for the first time in their lives. We should not stand for it especially when it is largely the imported hatred of another group that sparked it. Liberals, who I would have considered myself to be until recently, do not know what to do when a so-called minority starts behaving hatefully to another minority. Their brain just explodes. They keep desperately trying to find moderate Muslims to speak up but cannot. Not because they do not exist in great numbers but because it is so dangerous to cross the extremists, even as a Muslim, maybe more so. I worked with people from Gaza, in several moshavs, near the Gaza region, those people came in to work in agriculture and Israel paid them very well, I also worked there, the only thing I know is that they like to look for trouble, although they didn't know that I was just a Mexican I think they thought I was Jewish, And they always sat in the middle of the road to look for trouble, they wanted to be run over so they would have to become aggressive saying that I started, they were young women

I had a very unsettling experience today. I was crossing the main street of Dunedin, NZ (population about 130,000) when my way was temporarily blocked by a chanting mob of at least 100 people (what I could see of them, but they kept coming so maybe more) waving Palestinian flags. The only thing I could understand of what they were chanting sounded like "Free free Palestine". Since Gaza *is* free, I could only understand this as a claim that Israel is part of Palestine and a demand that Jews be removed from it, live or dead. I was shocked to find so many people openly supporting terrorism against women and children, and shocked again that the authorities were doing nothing about it. (Mind you, it's election day, so it will be a couple of weeks before we know who the top authorities actually are, but I meant the city council and police.) Quite a lot of the chanting mob were young women.
Israel is a settler colonialist state, much of the Jewish population either are or are descended from migrants. Palestinians were removed from their homes under threat of violence (this should remind you of the trail of tears, the thing we US citizens now recognize as a form of ethnic cleansing, and a part of our history we are ashamed of). I also would like to ask you this: If Gaza is free, why can Israel shut off their water and power? The attacks by Palestine against Israel are not unprovoked terrorism, they are a response to a conflict that has existed since the very inception of Israel. There have been many Jewish kings ruling from Jerusalem, but never a Palestinian king. So in reality these Arab Muslims with the fake name Palestinians are the colonizers. You can find all about the kings of Israel and Judea in the 2 books of chronicles in the old testament which scholars have dated to be written around 600bc. Btw, most Muslim scholars consider those books historically accurate

There were pictures of Gaza a while back. The pictures were showing some cities. They were beautiful. Lots of food. It was clean. Yes there were also bad areas. Just like every country! If the people of Gaza suffer. It's because their leaders spend millions upon millions on artillery to fight Israel. I remember Israel making peace deals that Gaza turned down or when they excepted, they soon broke! The Palestinians do not have rights to any land in Israel. They came about because of Arafat. He named his group Palestinians. Jordan kicked them out of Jordan because they tried to overthrow the king. Some went to Sinai and some went to Lebanon. Where they cause a civil war. When the Palestinians in Sinai heard that Israeli's were moving into Israel. They rushed up to Jerusalem trying to claim the land. Study history folks. Study both sides. Truth is in history.

I had always been under the impression that Palestine was some sort of historical state, but prior to 1920 the area was known as Ottoman Syria. There have always been a remnant of Jews living in the area from biblical times. Very interesting interview
It was always called Palestine, in biblical times it was called Canaan. Ottoman Syria was when it was under control by the Ottoman empire. This land has always had conquerors and occupiers on it, but the indigenous people of that land are in fact Palestinian (Arabs).
