Lake Oroville SRA Bidwell Canyon Camping Area has 75 campsites on a bluff overlooking Lake Oroville. The campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each campsite also has an electric hookup, table, fire ring and grate. The campground has also flush toilets, showers, RV dump station and delicious drinking water.
Lake Oroville State Recreation has a total of 4 campgrounds (including a horse campground) with the Loafer Creek Area (Coyote Campground) being the largest with 137 campsites and 6 group sites. The Loafer Creek Horse Camp has 15 campsites. Lime Saddle campground has 44 sites, and the Bidwell Canyon Area (Big Pine and Gold Flat campgrounds) has 75 sites. The Park also has several "floating" campsites.
