PAC-12: dissolved into Big 12 and B1G. ACC: weakened by their deal that prevents their big brands (and moneymakers) from making enough money to compete.
@@politicallycorrectnpc5698 the Pac12 is going to lose USC, UCLA in the coming years. Plus other teams have mentioned wanting to leave the conference. So it won't be the BIG12 that dies out, it'll be the PAC12
@@brettbrooks5511 the big 12 only delayed the inevitable, they have no lasting power with the teams in the conference, it only gives the currents teams some type of media look for other conferences to eventually shop for them. PAC-12 is just going through it all quicker.
Well their best team ran Oklahoma State off the field in the first half so I’d say to pretend losing their two biggest brands ever is not a big deal is pretty stupid.
@@VenomZNoHopefootball ain't great. but the big 12 basketball is the best in the Country by miles. Adding Utah and other Pac 12 teams is a step in the right direction too.
@@deroso3294 More like a structural fire. USC is leaving for the B1G and UCLA is trying join them. There is talk of Oregon UW and WSU also leaving to the B1G. Also there was talk of ASU and UA joining the Big 12
@@theconversation5574as a ucf student them making fun of UCF like that kind of pissed me off. What does UCF have to do to get respect? Malzahn better get us a REAL natty.
@@MrGoodeatscommon “south” Florida community college student. They don’t know how to spell. Have fun in the aac while UCF, which has a 36% acceptance rate (lowest in new big 12), goes on to the big 12!
The funny thing about all this is the SEC was born as a direct result of the old Southern Conference being oversaturated with teams back in the '30s and '40s, and they decided to break off and start a conference that wasn't as bloated.
That was before the schools owned their own media rights. Now thanks to Oklahoma and Georgia every school can sell their media rights and this is what it has all led to
We still lost to ECU Tulane Louisville and Navy though. We are the most bipolar team in college football. Gus needs to get us a national championship (not a fake one) soon!
We did lose to Tulane and Navy and ECU and Louisville 😢 hopefully Gus can take us to the promise land of being “the future of college football” where we can get a REAL undebatable natty
I think competition wise, the Big 12 is getting stonger but they will be losing 2 giant moneymakers. UCF, Cincinnati, and BYU are all decent additions who have had some succesful seasons recently. Houston is honestly better than OU in every sport right now so they're actually a good addition.
Doesn’t matter who’s good or not. As you can see B12 just doesn’t get looked at in the same light as other conferences. Fair or not. Teams will leave just like they’re leaving the pac 12. We will be seeing new conferences being created soon because of lack of exposure to the CFP, even with the expanded playoff.
As a ucf student we were kinda trash this year ngl. We lost to Tulane ECU navy and Louisville. Gus better do something. I thought were the “future of college football” and we are gonna win the national championship. How are we gonna do that losing to ECU? We gotta beat the Michigan’s, Alabama’s, Ohio States’s of college football so we can maybe one day be among those names.
K-Stater here I have a few words for the sec in general and there new teams Few words of discouragement for Texas horns down also good luck taking a hit from Vandy you won’t survive words for OU just straight up hell to yah you are a pain in the butt to play and that’s all thank you for leaving the XII enjoy your stay in SEC we won’t miss ya at all now that K-State can be top cat And there was stage words of discouragement in mean encouragement” Texas I wish you the best of luck now that your out of the big twelve but like I don’t wanna see you anywhere near my cats YES I KNOW HORNS DOWN IS OFFENSIVE I’m only doing it towards the fans I respect the hell out of those athletes
Ok tbf we played Georgia who went on to win the natty next year Alabama who's well Bama and a top 10 Arkansas team while we were testing waters with a new QB Sure its 3 losses but i kinda expected that
@@Ohwellitsnotthatimportant but ucf did beat the sec west champion Auburn in 2017 and also ucf and Houston both best sec teams last year. Ucf can't even beat Louisville but can still beat sec teams. Fun fact the sec is 7-4 against power 5 opponents this season tied for first with the big 12 who is also 7-4
@@BluntTrauma913 yeah. Gonna be great drama. Went to bama, but we never played either when I was there. Gonna be cool with ok to see an all red stadium. Gonna create a ton of money
UCF are national football champions we can claim that because of the prediction the Colley matrix (which is recognized by the NCAA) made saying we’d go all the way, because we didn’t have the prestige we didn’t get to go to the final four and have a fighting chance. And because the colley matrix is recognized by the NCAA we could claim national champions without repercussions.
Ha, all the comments about how this didn’t age well. It is spot on. Big 12 will be the new athletic conference after next year. No flagship programs. If you take 1/4 of your teams from the athletic conference, you are that conference.
