Big Bend National Park is a Texas sized adventure! And the Rio Grande is so iconic, you just have to see it for yourself and get swept back in time to the westward expansion days of the "old west". (I'm a huge fan of westerns!)
We definitely have some family favorites when it comes to national parks, and we always seem to enjoy multi-day visits VS just 1 day parks like Congaree or Carlsbad Caverns (which are also amazing)
We spent an entire week inside one of the most remote national parks in the country and went on 6 hikes:
Santa Elena Canyon, Mule Ears, Rio Grande Nature Trail, Langford Hot Springs, Ernst Tinaja, Chisos Basin Window & Basin loop, and Boquillas Canyon.
It was an epic week to just unwind and lose cell reception.
