I just love how genuine Steve is. If he doesnt know something he just tells you "I dont know". No BS or making stuff up. Tells it like it is. Great work Steve.
I’ve gotten so many life long customers that way. The other two are “I made a mistake I’ll take care of it” and “I mis diagnosed it I’m not gonna charge you”.
I don’t think so… nitrous sux! Hit the switch oh yea bottles empty… oh yea I have to heat the bottle..That combo would be much much better with anything else accept no nitrous.
run double the bottles you need, and they make electric bottle heaters and openers! I have 2 20lb bottles and with the simple flip of 2 switches one bottle gets shut and the other opens. the heaters start as soon as the car is running.
The people who hate on nitrous must not like horsepower. If class rules allowed people would run multiple power adders……especially guys with too small of a motor with too big of a turbo like most LS guy. Give it 15 seconds and your power will kick in lol. Little spray fixes that.
yep you're right the ol Carb stuff is Bitchin but when it comes down to it when you can hook up the Electronic Screwdriver and tell it when and how much to give it and all the other tweaks that can be done
"Babies get bottles, but men get blown" was my license plate frame I had made. Way back in the early 90's on my Lincoln Mark VII with a Vortech V1 and 5 speed Tremec. The looks in the rear view when people would read it.... lol If they only knew what it meant.
That's a healthy old school engine for sure. 1320HP is nothing to be mad about! Dewey doing Dewey things as usual. LOL Comes strolling in, steals a rag and refuses to give it back. 🤣
OMG!! Bringing back the Carb and Nitrous motors!! 👀 Heck yeah!! Love it.. that’s super cool to see. My Old School Roots!! NOS!!👍🏼 let’s see them views Roll IN!!
"USGS reports a slight wobble in the earths rotation, today....instruments indicate a large amount of horsepower applied and affected proper rotation."
Great clip/learning time. Showing how palls (dam almost 30 years) stay in touch. Still thinking about high school times with buddies, and wishing that was yesterday. But having a motor on your dino with juice?? That's a motor owner with...dang roots. Thank you Tom showing knowledge.
Steve something to try for cleaning that glass... get some fireplace ash from somewhere, wet a paper towel or towel and dip it in the ash, then rub on the glass. You may be surprised, works on a lot of stuff.
Nice work guys! That’s good power for an older nitrous 632! If he has good control of the timing, he can run 900 on it, probably on another kit, depending on the chamber in the head? After that you best be a good tuner! If he wants to head towards fuel injection, set him up with Fuel Tech! Lots of Carb nitrous guys are doing it for the coil on plug, & all the information they get with it! Then they move to injection when they can get a big throttle body & injectors! Louis @ Fuel Tech knows how to step on that shit 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻! Was hoping to see one kit & some flames 🔥🔥 🤷🤷🤷🤷!
Hey Steve. What you guys need for this engine is the Heltech Elite VMS It has all the good stuff an ECU has except injector drivers. Can do Ignition control Boost control Nitrous control Launch control Trans brake and bump control Data logger Fan control Pump control Engine safety Would be perfect for this engine
Hey Steve, Tim here, seems pretty stout for on motor (knowin nitrous cams/motors usually dont make impressive #'s NA)..........i'm LAUGHING, and its a GAS!!!!...hahaha, enjoyed it!!! TY sir, good luck to ur man there!!!!!....
Na is my favorite stuff with stick shift. Love to see rebuild of 632. Currently building headers for SB2 sbc in 68 Jerico 4 spd Chevelle. Can’t wait to fire been 2 years in motor build.
Dewey! My four yr old rescue pit Queenie is fffing obsessed with rags, hand-towels! She'll eat anything ... I thought it'd subside a bit by now but no, she'll scarf up anything ie., rocks, dirt too. Worries me.
Hey Steve, have you ever checked to see if someone could just buff the window to get the blemishes out? Ive done it to headlights and even face shields.
Hey Steve did you consider using automotive fine cut polish or chrome polish on that glass if it’s lexon style? We do that a lot on our safety shielding at work to remove chemical stains
Hey Steve, on that Window problem why don't you get a auto paint detail guy to use some Compound and Cut N Buff those marks away, actually I think Hot Rod Val could probably fix it, keep up the good work love the channel 👍
Cubes+cubes+cubes=Hp. '70s I was a small block fan, then started stroking to 400ci+, seen that light bulb so decided to start with 400+ci and stroke them. I know this is a boosted channel, and I wanted to give it a shot. Bought a Paxton Centrifugal supercharger, even bought a turbo, wasn't anyone close to really learn it from, no chrome/yt to research back then. So it was cubes+cubes+cubes+NA.
Hey Steve, is the Hoodie u r wearing is the same in your merch shop. It looks like the one you are wearing is a lighter blue. Interested in getting one exactly like the one you have on.
I could see spraying nitrous on the dyno just because it will probably be faster and you can monitor it better than at the track to see if fovsome reason you need different jets or just make sure it's all good kinda same reason you are running the engine on the dyno
Steve ! Off topic about the nitrous , but I see that you have a water thermostat housing on the block , my question is, is if you have 2 rad caps , 1 on the Block & 1 on the rad , I was told to remove the lower seal from the cap , so that the the pressure can release , but from what cap do I take the lower seal off , as my rad is sitting 6 inches lower than the block , I’d assume the highest point , or do I remove them at all , your input would be appriciated
