I dug out my big block mopar truck engine mounts, for the 1972 farm truck, but they were in sad shape. Fortunately, Vevor reached out for me to try their 40 gallon sandblasting cabinet. I give a brief unboxing and assembly, followed by actually testing the cabinet out.
Feel free to leave future comments on the longevity and performance of this cabinet. I will be using it weekly!

If you change around the sand feed like I did in my video you will be much happier with it. Over time it will start working poorer and poorer until you just want to throw it out on the road! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OhlKMkj9QsQ.html

That's what I like about Harbor Freight and these other Chinese vendors. They make it possible to buy things that we couldn't have afforded before.

We have a blast cabinet at the shop from harbor freight and had to set up a vac system to it and that was a mess after a bit do to leaks and sand in the room so we did a pressurized exhaust to the outside of the building and that worked best. Our cabinet is the biggest one they sell and another lesson here is never blast anything without grease and chunks off it or you contaminate the sand and it plugs up the nozzle. So after all the farting around we went to acid dip on metal parts and use this on intakes and other aluminum parts only. For me it was to many labor hours when you can dip it and walk away and next morning wash it and paint it. Handy tool for intakes or little quick jobs for the weekender. For us it's about time and dust contamination to the shop and we can't have dust in motors or going into the paint booth lol. 😢

If you put a tee in the air line you can put an air gun in the cabinet to blow the media out of the corners back down into the hopper.

Important thing to note: almost every single thing vevor is just a rebrand from a mass manufacturer. Like different paint colors and labels. I've done a LOT of research into machinery and tools this last year and always end up that the vevor catalog is the same as the other chinese vendors. Additionally, I have noticed that the quality of the finished product is directly linked to the brands name. Vevor rides right in the middle, Bestequip is towards the bottom, and HiTorque/Grizzly the top... and all the other little unknown names are the bottom of the barrel. Secondly and probably the most important is that these are ALL knockoffs of *QUALITY* brands like Wen, Sieg, etc. Some of the name brands have even started selling out to the chinese manufacturers for their mainline products to be made cheaper on the condition that the chinese get to make said knockoffs... Eastwood/Dewalt for example.

Just ordered the same cabinet from Vevor. I’m planning to have gravity feed instead of the pickup tube. Thanks for making this video 👍🏻 any chance you could measure the hole in the bottom of the cabinet? Sincerely TJ Norway 🇳🇴

What’s the air compressor requirement to run it?
@JustMoparJoe

I’m not really sure. I can say that my compressor didn’t run nearly as much as it would have when I port cylinder heads
