I am running BOX THREE v brakes with Salmon black Kool stops and they are great. Dan's Comp has a special for the entire kit (lever, brake,hose) for 51$.

I agree , Paul levers are awesome. The Paul mini moto’s V- brakes are also great . They’re the best rim brakes I have ever used.

Hubs & Cog or freewheel. Cranks, Bottom bracket & Sprocket. Chain. Basically drivetrain imo.

Thanks for this video! I'm just trying to transform my MTB into a cool BMX style cruiser. It's a 7speed Marin Stinson. I'm just trying to get back into riding. I already ordered some tires but now i'm looking to convert it into a single speed with disc brakes. It currently has v-brakes. I want a nice BMX style set of handlebars.

Awesome info - thanks for sharing! Question: I have a Big Ripper, and would like to change the gearing to make it a little bit easier to pedal (plus, it's very hilly where I live/ride). And, when wheelie-ing I also like to stand on the pedals. To that end, will a 33t front sprocket still provide enough resistance to stand (when wheelie-ing), or would it be better to leave the 36t (in front), and go with a 17t in the rear? Thx!

With all those upgrades in order to be ultimate. Why not just purchase frame for lower price. For 1k you would think it be built right from the GIT GO!!! Ty I'm a older dude but never stopped riding I bought the framed 29er spacecraft love it want to up grade my crank arms and sprocket believe it's a 3 piece 175 mm it's making noise it's fucking my ride up but I'm hooking the bike up colors and I really need my crank arms blue and sprokett help me choose the best in your opinion I'm married 2 kids somneeds to be budget friendly thanks Edwin from nj

and what gearing should I run I've been thinking a 33t sprocket and 17 or 16t freewheel but I am not sure. I am wheeling but losing speed very fast on the stock gearing

I have a 29 big flyer and basically just want to do wheelies and am a beginner at it . Would a rideoutsupply 17th freewheel be overkill with the stock from front sprocket? or should I stick with the rideoutsupply 16th

Stick with the 16t in my opinion. I say that because as you’re learning wheelies right now, the smallest adjustment change can make a big difference and throw off your progress. And changing gearing you kinda have to re learn to wheelie comfortably until you’re use to it again. Idk if that makes sense. 17t runs out of speed quick too lol

Are the bars for 20" bikes interchangeable with big bikes or do they make different bars specifically for big bikes?

It’s all pretty interchangeable for the most part. There is a variance in free wheels . But there are companies that are putting out parts designed around big bmx bikes, like RideoutSupply and Brokeboyzbmx.

I just got the cult 26' devotion today. I tried to sit down wheelie it and couldn't even get the tire off the ground. I only tried once, I am out of shape. But I wanted to ask you about the gearing on it. Internet says it has 25T sprocket and 10T cassette. Idk if that's good for wheelies or not. The only sit down wheelies I could do are on mountain bike low gears for like 5 pedals long. I feel like maybe I should get a sprocket that's more snappy and easier to get up. Also maybe I should I shorten the chain and put the tire as far forward as possible? Ok I just re-watched the part where I talk about the gearing.. I've got a 10T cassette and only want to change the 25T sprocket if nessisary. Could you suggest a snappyer one please that.

Hydraulic brakes, bottom brakes are good upgrades to start with on those maniacs

Schwalbe Super Moto-X 27.5 x 2.8 tires are sick to run. 4 piece Brokeboyzbmx barz are dope, they're my favorite to run. You can also run a longer stem which will make the bike feel longer. Did that on my blk & gold goon. Rideoutsupply.com has you covered with sticker kits to change to the look.

Give me a little bit to double check if 2.8 will fit but I think they will. The 2 piece barz are the same size as the 4 piece but they are releasing a 2 piece 10” bar soon! Bottom bracket you can go odyssey for low cost or check out profile bottom brackets or high end like bombshell

It will make it easier to wheelie but you’re going to run out of speed quicker. Every tooth you go up in the rear is equivalent to 2.5 teeth up front. Usually safest to go up one tooth at a time in the rear.

Haha yessir! Well, You could do 16t ROS freewheel and a 36t Brokeboyzbmx Sprocket. That will cut down pedal rotation a bit and raise your top speed/cruising speed.
