Man Big Boi and 3 Stacks have always been two of the classiest guys in the rap game. Never in trouble, make ground breaking music, are good actors, know how to be smart with their other endeavors. Much respect to him and Andre.
@@ramshak4539 More accurately, they booed them cuz they weren’t from new york, if they was from fucking denver or some shit i think they’d still get booed
I love Outkast, but mostly I love that Big Boi and Andre are polar opposites and it still works. Also, if anyone follows Big Boi on social media, he and Andre are truly bestfriends. It's refreshing to see.
Mixed Tape no, Big Boi is definitely underrated. A lot of people see Andre as the God MC and treat Big Boi as if he's just an average rapper who got lucky to be paired with Andre.
BC da Kid He handled it classy, coz he could see right through ctg instigating bullshit. He passed on that alley oop to spaz on Joe and kept it moving.
BC da Kid that's real because calling anyone a platinum artist is not some knock at all it shows you're a huge deal but big boi was like naw I'm even beyond that I'm diamond PLAYBOY. Another stratosphere beyond 99.999% of artists
Everytime I see big Boi I always think of the movie Atl when he pulled up on lil buddy at the store and was like "Boom". I been scared of the plug every since
Good morning black brothers and sisters. As people of colour, we must always practice self love. In order to give unconditional love, we must have love for ourselves. We must stop trying to please others and sacrifice ourselves unnecessary, because when it all falls down, the only person that would get hurt in that process is "YOU". I love y'all, keep these words close, and be safe out there ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾 #blackways
never hear of big boi in ANY industry bullshit. much respect to him for the way he conducts himself & handles his "celebrity" status as well as all the dope ass music he's given us over the years! 👏🏽👑
BIG BOI with that Al Sharpton stiff neck. lol I still have my original tape and CD of SouthernPlayalisticCadillacMuzik... I was 13 and won that shit from a 92.3 The Beat raffle at VIP records in Long Beach. Damn those were the f'n days!
One of the most underrated emcees due to being in a duo & having a just as great partner. Up there as underrated as Prodigy and Malice. Big Boi used to wash Andre routinely on some tracks. Both were equal, perfectly balanced
Outkast top 3 best duos all time! Big Boi is propably in a top 5 of most underrated MC's ever. Nobody wants it with BB or Outkast for that matter. Both 5 star MC's!
Freshh Cutz To be honest, Andre is my personal favorite emcee of all time.... but I don't even enjoy The Love Below. I stop listening just after Speakerboxx ends, and start up again just before A Day in the Life of Andre Benjamin starts...
I smiled the whole time! I love Big Boy, always have always will, but even more now. He's smart and takes care of his family! Much love Breakfast Club, great interview!!!
I have a show for the people. More specifically black millennials. Tune in to the fun and enlightenment on a show for US and by US. You have several weeks to catch up on! #BlackOwnedMedia ✊🏾
I would absolutely love to be a part of this. I have no experience in this department but I'm willing to go over and beyond the job task to get the ball rolling because this is exactly what I've been thinking my generation needs. Please reach out
I been saying this for the longest, people really be sleeping on Big Boi. People don't know that he was the one writing a lot of the hooks and coming up with the song concepts on the earlier Outkast albums. Not only that, I'll even go as far as to say he outshined Andre on a handful of songs, especially on their first 2 albums.
Could listen to LA Reid, 90s ATL hip hop, Outkast sht all day long. Def more than a measly 27 mins. What's it gonna take to get Dre on this?? The stories he'd have.
Great interview. Big Boi is a legend but I have to disagree about this being his best album since Speakerboxx. Sir Lucious Left Foot is his best album since Speakerboxx. and I guess he forgot that Speakerboxx/The Love Below did debut at #1 on the Billboard Album charts.
i think that's one of the ones he was referring to that didn't make #1 as a debut album because of "traffic(other famousGroups/musicians), like Moby or Pearl Jam".
Chris Lawyer i agree. His new album was good but his first one is still his best one in my opinion. "Shutterbug" alone is worth buying that album especially after he performed it live on Jimmy Fallon with The Roots. one of the dopest performances I've ever seen.
If you actually listen to 3 stacks verses. He tells us he's scared of dropping new music cause he don't want people to say he fell off and isn't nice. Listen to rosa parks. He's been feeling like this for a while
as a black woman, who partially listened to outkast, this interview actually enlightened me to know who bigboi was back then, and now. I nvr fully understood outkast's style. Just thought they were some regular dudes from The A. But this interview proved otherwise. Big boi is very humble, very wealthy and very smart. No drama, and just a real man from hip hop. One of the best interviews so far. Enjoyed it! 👍👍
