I know what it is! This lot, Pauline, Helen, Toya, etc. are so miserable with their lives, that they have to try to make good people, who aren't miserable or negative, like them, just so they can feel better about themselves and their lives! It is sad that tyrants and cruel people like Pauline, Helen, and Toya, get praised for their despicable treatment of people, whereas better people like Christopher and Jale are constantly made to feel worthless and wrong (when they are actually some of the most worthy and right people in that house)! What world do we live in that kindness and understanding and forgiveness and compassion and intellect are seen as bad things! It makes me feel very nervous for us! For this planet as a whole! This episode I think shows Stevens inner problems. For him to within two weeks get like that with Pauline makes me think he has had a not so great relationship with his parent(s). He clings to the mother figure and reverts to more childlike behavior around her....not healthy.
