Decorator's tip: When using a small paint can, stretch a rubber band - top to bottom so the the top of the band bisects the circumference of the open end of the can. Wipe surplus paint from your brushes on the rubber band. Then you don't get all that spill off down the sides of the can. Simples!

Oh Sawyers smile and laugh just tickle me to my toes! He is so adorable and happy. Crusoe is really growing fast now Tara, a little boy and not so much baby left. They are delightful little boys who will love and nurture that beautiful land under your loving guidance. I’ve loved every thing you have done and am excited to see how the new house will develop and look. If you Can do it, don’t go small…make your rooms large and airy. Those boys are going to be big before you know it and they require room! The bedrooms can be on the smaller size but the living spaces should be as big as you can go for comfort. Your homestead really is an enchanted place🤗💖👍👍🙏🙏

I truly love the mist in the mountains, it's like flying through the clouds! Your videos are so beautiful! Tara, being patient with ur boys an allowing them to learn and grow is a parents biggest challenge, but so rewarding when you see what they have learned and what they are capable of! You are totally right. It's beautiful to see how they interact with each other and with John and Tara. They are for sure one of the most beautiful couples I have ever seen in my life, and from that, only beautiful children can be born. One of the things I love the most is right in the bigging of every episode when sawyer goes under the rain, and his happiness. And John's reaction is also beautiful❤ I have the same feeling as you doo. This boys will grow healthy, confident, and full of love in their hearts.. with loving and wise parents such as Tara and John❤❤

Hello folks, watching John making that path is amazing, his masonry skills are a real credit to him, I know because I've done the same and finding just the right slab of stone isn't easy. I'd like to commend you both on your filming and editing skills, what you create for our viewing is nothing short of spectacular, watch out Hollywood. I loved hearing Crusoe say the colour of the paint was "beautiful" he is brilliant and sweet and observant and Sawyer is just such a happy little fellow,, you must really enjoy their company regardless of the work involved in their nurturing. My boys are all grown up now, and your boys remind me so much of them. When we talk about their childhoods, it is always about what we did and where we went, never about what they got materially. Oh my heart! Sawyer. 🥰 He’s at that age that is just so incredibly adorable. The wonder and delight on his face is a vista to behold. And Crusoe’s curiosity, eagerness to try things and be a part of it all is so very cool!😎 … What is the Portuguese word for “quick?” The path is coming along nicely - it’s going to look amazing when it’s completed. I’m thinking your property is like a sponge cake. Layers of interest, with the house being a whole pile of cream and strawberries on top! The opening drone photos of the fog/clouds and your property was soooo pretty!! Is Sawyer's hair redder than Crusoe's hair was at the same age? Oh its getting very exciting, really looking forward to seeing each of the layers. Crusoe was so cute when he was painting the door, saying 'its very pretty' and 'daddy its beautiful'. After blanching, cool the grape leaves immediately in ice-cold water. Once cooled, remove from the ice bath, and drain the water well. Pat the leaves dry with a paper towel and store them in plastic freezer bags. Remove as much air from the bags as possible.

I’m so excited for the boys to get their own room!! Will be glorious they each have a toy box made by John (drilled breathing holes in the back) Would be so cool to have a hidden room (maybe loft) for the boys to climb into and have a “dungeon” with hiding spots … ohhh so much for the boys to look forward to! I love your paths and every time I see them I love them more if possible. Crusoe was so cote with his “Isn’t it lovely then “ Its so beautiful. How can Sawyer be moving around and running on his own as it seems like he was just born a couple of months ago. Time sure flies. Your door colour was close to the colour I wanted for one house trim but unfortunately it’s not what I got lol. I should of stopped right away with it but I didn’t so now I have trim I really don’t like oh well that’s life. Your holiday is so close now. Wherever you may be have a lovely Christmas. Take care.

I think that last minute was about two different cakes 😂 I can thoroughly identify with the pull both ways when trying to include the children in something messy. I didn't always get organised enough to get them into the clothes that didn't matter. I could say lots of pretty things about making memories, but I've got my rose coloured specs. You'll get them one day. The door is going to look great! You can get templates for hares - they're for applique, but can just as easily be sized and used for thin wood. You can get all kinds of templates of course, but I'm willing to bet you want to create your own, not use someone else's. I'm sure that whatever you do on that door, it will be effective.

If you have a good base, like you seem to have for your walkway, you don't have to hand mortar. I use a standard concrete mix or mortar mix as you like, and when your stones are laid, sweep it in dry and water it. Can even use fast set mix. Water it, lightly brush once hardened some and rinse off. Much easier. If any ever pops up, sweep some more dry mix in and water.

The fog in the morning looks like the smokie mountains in USA beauitful. The boys are getting so cute. Can’t wait to see what is next. Waiting on the new house and road.
