My main question i want to ask a store except the ones i go to is; How do you keep the customer base coming back?

Be genuine, be passionate - talk to your customer and listen to what they are looking for and hopefully they enjoy the experience of visiting!

I may not be the correct person to answer this question. But from experience, having a good environment, decent selection of product, and a welcoming community can keep a person going back to a store. Also building a good reputation. I.E. Being known for fast shipping, low prices, good trade in prices, and lots more can help a store gain reoccurring customers.

Excellent interview. It was highly informative and nice to watch. At the end, the store owner mentioned a noticeable uptick in female/femme-adjacent players. My question going off of that is, how does the player base treat their transgender or otherwise gender nonconforming opponents? How does the Pokemon TCG staff handle transphobia in their spaces? I'm nonbinary, have been a Pokemon fan for as long as I can remember, and have recently gotten back into the card game. I'm mostly asking as a safety precaution for my partner and me.

I live in this area and find people are really accepting generally! I think playing against all different ages and skill levels at events naturally fosters an inclusive environment. Only rudeness I find is people taking the game too seriously lol

If you feel threatened or unwelcomed, there are policies in place that all Play Stores, players etc have to respect and acknowledge - if you have been untreated fairly you can open a support ticket which may help educate them or remind them it is an all inclusive game.
