i searched on google and it says that "the average annual salary in Canada was $59,300" considering how expensive 3D printers are (eg. the smallest ratrig vcore3 kit costs something like 600), 60,000 is quite surprising🤣
I’m already a monthly Patreon supporter and, you might not hear from me too much, but my support isn’t going anywhere! I have immense gratitude for your printer design/teaching wisdom and can’t believe I’ve now successfully built TWO Rooks! I hope to build the Delta Flyer next (don’t tell my husband 😂). I also appreciate the Fusion 360 lessons and slowly making my way through them. I wish you all the best and great success in reaching your full-time membership goals.
All the best dude, you can do this and will make a huge success, the community is so awesome and we help each other worldwide. I'm just very surprised that you've not found a job yet, but I think I know why the IT sector in Canada is what it is currently, wont say it out loud but can say I knowyour pain, but nonetheless I've been there, got laid off, went job hunting for a year and a bit and eventually found something, but I have full faith you'll make a huge success of this.
Best of luck, we're rooting for you! I don't mean this as a criticism, though you should consider getting a lavalier microphone and ideally get some sound deadening foam for the walls. Improving the audio can really help retain new people who are recommended you videos. It's ridiculous how much higher quality audio adds to production value, and lavalier mics are pretty cheap. I hope going full time works well for you. Your projects are really impressive, and you deserve it
Nice! Would you consider branching out into other types of machines? I am currently thinking of trying to use the parts from an old wanhao duplicator i3 to make a PCB CNC... You can only have so many printers before you need to make a PCB :D
I feel the same way, I left my job back in May and have been trying to get my company up and running. Best of luck to you. I'll try to jump in patreon soon!
