We house ruled the redistribution phase so it doesn't start until after City Hall is built. That works great.

I've owned and played this for a while now and it really does fit in that slot between a gateway game and a mid-weight strategy game, depending on the group playing. Very much a good family game with a lux feel and yeah when it's finished you can look over your city and the components look terrific. Our group loves a good 'take that' so that is very welcome too. Very solid addition to my collection via Kickstarter :) Good review Tom

Sounds like it's a good game but not good enough to justify the price point. Maybe if they made it with cardboard tiles and dropped the price down to say...$60? Hope to try someone's copy someday though. Kind of reminds me of Tapestry by SM games. They didn't really need the buildings in that game either. Why aren't cardboard tiles good enough anymore?
