@@stevecarl1292 yes, surely you're right what I really mean is that they don't have the recognition they deserve, and it really pisses me off they're labeled 1-hit-wonders in the US
@@charly9927That is so annoying Big Country are nowhere near a one hit wonder. I think that label is the kiss of death, most people just believe it when they’re told and don’t bother to listen to the other stuff. No matter how much they like, in this bands case In a Big Country.
Great song, should have been a bigger hit. Not sure about the video. A moody Stuart is a tough sell, IMO. Is the message of the video that Bruce stole his girl and she tries to make amends at the end?
I share. Great song but the video is really average. The song itself is a fiction created by Stuart. From what I understand, the lyrics are about a boy who was always in love with a girl but they were never more than friends because she didn't feel the same way. Finally the girl falls in love with another boy. So there wasn't another guy's girlfriend being robbed or anything. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hold_the_Heart#Background
yeah I don't think Stuart was that comfortable, maybe the record company insisted on a video. But he really came alive on stage, I hope you got to see him...BC are always more comfortable outside or in concert!
