The old Big Country is my favorite band of all time. I thought Stuart Adamson was right up there with Eddie Van Halen. Now; Bruce Watson is right up there with Stuart Adamson. Even though the new version of Big Country is now a shadow of the band it once was; I would still love to see them play. However; as someone from the backroads of America I fear that I will never be able to hear a chord in person. I should say it warms my heart to see Bruce Watson playing with his son while the two of them also more or less anchor the skids, Stuart Adamson’s first band which I also wish I could somehow go and see. I don’t remember the boy’s name however perhaps in the future he and Stuart’s son might keep the sound going? The music of Big Country is truly unique and special. The vast majority of Americans have missed out on one of the best sounds that there ever was within the rock genre because unfortunately; Big Country never really made “The Crossing,” back in the day, except for “In a Big Country.” Thank you to the provider of this video; its the best “new Big Country” video I have seen. I hope their sound is never lost to us!
I do have hearing aids , I too miss the 'big man' but I can remember seeing him and the band. So I stand by my comment:- 'I LOVED Big Country' ( past tense, not present)..@@ianjones8573
