We had a great time climbing Roy's peak, the view was definitely worth the effort. Many recommend doing this hike for sunrise at the peak, but we aren't that earlier of risers. All we can say is make sure you leave enough time to get a crepe at Charlie Brown Crepes in Wanaka after the hike!
