I’ve gone on another binge of your videos! I’ve wanted to dress this way since I was 12. I’m currently 22. I’m finally able to start! I’ve found your videos and explanations on things very educational. I’ve taken your tips and tricks with me! If I found that pink coat I would actually die! I've been looking for a swing coat or a lilli Ann that fits me for years! I used to have a santa like that I miss it so much! Fantastic haul! You should open a Poshmark or etsy store for your great finds that dont fit!

These are just lovely, nostalgic looks at the way women of my mother's generation always presented themselves when not only out in public or at events but at home as well. Thank you for taking the time and effort it takes to give us a glimpse of the older, more elegant days of fashion when clothing wasn't just something to cover yourself up with or to make some kind of political statement but also to reveal a fashion art form. It lifts the spirit to take a trip back to those days if just in memory prompted by your work and your passion. And these days, we need to lift the spirit as often as we can. I recently discovered your channel as well as a few others who specialize in this kind of thing. I visit about once a week, now, if just to savor when the world was a little kinder, calmer, and definitely more stylish.

I am blown away by the thrifted and estate prices that you're finding! Here in upstate ny those thrifted items would be many more times more expensive! Havent had true thrift price in many years. Congratulations! gorgeous items!

Yep box pleats and pinafore. It's not a problem you are saving these pieces from possible landfill if nobody else rescues them! They need to be loved and treasured. You did the right thing. Even if you don't know anyone you can sell it online. Loads would love to get their hands on these. You did so awesomely finding all these things! The 70s dress looks enough 30s/40s to wear as such. OMGoodness vintage shoes! That FIT!!! I'm in awe of how many fab things you found. And that pink and white lazy susan is the bomb! xxxx

Oh that coooat! I found my red swing coat at an estate sale for $5 (& it had gloves in the pocket!) I bought a round white faux fur hat from the same house to wear with it. The lining was already repaired and patched when I got it so after about a season of wearing it I had the lining fully replaced by a talented tailor who was just as excited as I was about the piece. It certainly cost more than $5 for that upgrade but it was well worth it. I got so much use out of it living in Illinois and I hope I will still have occasion to wear it now that I live in California. I got into the glass vase collecting by accident. I went to a "free-for-all" (basically a free garage sale) and found my first piece, a large blue vase, then at another free-for-all I found that same small amber vase you got, so I said I guess I collect these now! I have not found any more free ones, but my collection has grown quite a bit. I am watching this as I price things for my antique mall booth and I have a huge pile of bias tapes to label. I just can't resist them either! I document all my estate sale trips on instagram but I am thinking I should start doing youtube videos. Not enough room in the story highlights for all the vintage goodness!

My father and I have those same Pyrex bowls except they are blue and white, not yellow. They actually belonged to my grandparents, and when they passed away, we got to have them!

The Pyrex is Butterfly Gold. The coffee pitcher is a carafe.

The green skirt with the straps, I had this when I was growing up, loved it’s it a pinafore

The Lazy Susan sets are my favorite from your haul, they remind me of the one my mom had when I was young, it was mostly green with a tan accent. I think I love your videos because they bring back so many wonderful memories of my mom and my grandparents that I completely forgot about. ❤️

I am SO excited for you! From the clothes my favorite things are the green skirt with straps ( which I have one I made from a reproduction pattern) and the coat. I really like the 30s'ish dress on you. I think it would look cute with the coat. I just love Dad shirts like your Hawaiian one. I think it wold also look cute some high waisted 1940's button front trousers. The lazy Susan's are definitely the winners in the non-clothes category. Thank you for sharing your hauls. I had big sleeves like that in shirts in 1975 when I was 15. So it is 70's Many of them tied under the breast and were paired with jeans. I had jeans from the early 70's that had appliques on them along with jean jackets with embroidery and appliques. That was huge along with sheep skin, fringe and Indian beads and the Peace sign.

I recently found your channel and have been watching a lot of your videos. My grandmother who I was very close to had a lazy Susan that I LOVED and always made me think of her. Sadly she passed it 2008 and after she had verbally expressed to me always that her items would be given to me my father who I had a strained relationship got rid of all her things. I have been searching for YEARS to find the lazy Susan she had and always got a dead end. By chance I tried searching California lazy Susan and I found it. I was so happy I cried. Just seeing it brought back all the happy memories I spent with her. Just wanted to share that story with you and say thanks!
