Always remember that the deeper the stacks are, the more dramatic adjustments you need to make at the poker tables!
This video is part of my Cash Game Masterclass that is exclusively available to PokerCoaching.com Premium members.
There are some notable differences between 200bb and 100bb stack sizes:
- Your stack-off threshold (amount of equity needed to get all-in) is higher.
- Being in position is even more important and allows for larger bet and raise sizes.
- The nut advantage drives your poker strategy to an even higher degree.
Most cash game players feel comfortable playing 100bb deep but I tend to see them not adjust their poker strategy when they start to build a bigger stack. This is a huge blunder as often it will cost them all of their chips.
I discuss all of these adjustments in great depth and explain why they are so important to consider in order to master deep stacked poker. This video will guide you through some real poker hand examples to help you see the theory in action.
