I don't know if he's on any other BFQ, but he seems down to earth and able to take "jabs"(such as when he mentions the "bit hairy" after the Ewok comment).
@@NotKyleChicago I'm binge watching them for the 2nd time, and I haven't seen him on any other BFQ. He's good as the mature "straight man," but I would like to have seen a bit more silliness from him. Just a bit.
@@ToniHunterOne the leprechaun? That's it? He is in soooo much, Star Wars, Willow. Time Bandits. Not to mention he runs the largest talent agency for short people of all types and abilities. He really is a great actor and man.
@@raytonlin1 RU-vid cracked down on them a while back deleted almost all of them. I remember this exact channel becoming defunked at the time. Blast from the past seeing it upload again.
Noel's outfit is fantastically outrageous. Wonder if it was comfy to sit in. Add to that, Russell's "where's the poof?" and you've got the best BFQ ever.
Russel even manages to ruin Noel by bringing out the worst in him. I love Noel on Bake-off and on TBFQ when he’s paired with Richard Ayoade 💞 Legendary team... one of my top favs!
I love how every time Russel and Noel are about to be “caught” cheating (I mean, come on! Everyone knew they were cheating from the start), Jack or Jonathon distract Jimmy with something else.
Many years ago I had a party, at the time I lived in a two-bed flat, and I was on the CB. It started with a few people, but ended up with a few hundred people. They all brought their own bear and it was fun. It became a mass eyeball, as it was called back then over the CB radio. The police never came, there was no trouble, every one just chilled and had a good time. That was back in about 81, It was just people getting together and meeting and having a good time. When they left nothing stolen, nothing damaged. It was just one of those nights never to be recreated. I had no complaints as every one was invited. Just a happy memory.
Kudos to Russell and Noel for encouraging Audience participation. Giving them a real bang for their ticket money. Who cares about a little amusing cheating in a quiz that's just for fun and laughs?
I don't really dislike Jack. He's not my favorite but usually just a solid comedy character. But here something is off and did anyone notice how Claudia is usually a chaotic character who immediately has great chemistry with whoever she is partnered with and here she looks like she wants this to be over from the first second. She tries a few times to join Jack in his weirdness but she is obviously not enjoying it and I think Jack is playing the Jack game and not trying to involve his partnet.
I did notice that Claudia was not her usual, energetic self and was pretty sad about it because she is great. All the manchild energy in this group could not be overcome.
I have downloaded the whole series from 2005 to the present so I can rewatch them plus my mainstay watching is Britbox and Acorn. Most US tv sucks now.
This is my favorite episode, along with the one with the food fight. Love Russell and Noel, but I don’t think Jonathan Ross gets enough credit. He’s a good sport and very funny. I’ve never seen him get offended and doesn’t mind making fun of himself to get someone else’s joke work.
No matter what the context is, whether it’s a talk show like Graham Norton or a quiz show like 8oo10cdc, he appears to be having the time of his life, and he does his best to make sure that all those present enjoy themselves as much as he is.
51:15 Noel's sequined and bedazzled out fit is fantastic! Does this thing have a name? It sortof looks like Homer Simpson at Mardi Gras! 💃🎉 💀☠👲🤡👹👺👻👽👾🤖😺😈🤖😈😺😡😠😈💀💩👿
As soon as I saw Russel Brand I knew he’d ruin the show... just didn’t realize how bad it’d be. Ugh. Watching these in reverse order and so glad he’s not on future episodes. The quiz definitely gets better over the years.
just on the fly reference from karate kid i actually have a mate that did catch a fly with chopsticks. total fluke but still was damned funny when it happened
