We had a 605 that I kept up to 325000 miles; my mother-in-law has had one of the first 607s from new and it still drives brilliantly in spite of its 200000+ miles. Neither car has ever needed a major part replacing or broken down in any way.
@@rubenbraekman4515 The 607 is still doing fine although the alarm sometimes comes on if you open the door too quickly after using the remote. Only real fault in all this time. Still on the original exhaust too!
@@Harrylechat01 I have been trying to find a pertol one with low km's for a long time 😂 they are very rare in Belgium because people just keep driving them and never sell
Funny how Top Gear was so ridiculously anti-Peugeot, and yet Hammond never really was. He praised the 407 and used it as a pace car in a race (mysteriously absent from RU-vid), and also praised the 207.
Top Gear is def anti Peugeot but the presenters really arent Jeremy for example liked the 306 GTi 6 and the 106 Rallye he also claim that the 205 GTi as the only thing that's better than the original Golf GTi as for James, i dont know much
Ive had a £200 607 for a year, a grand car which did the job no problem. Not particularly nice to look at and to drive a bit too heavy and wallowy, even its predecessor the 605 felt much more enjoyable to drive.
@@peugeotCitroen2CV i Have one with Cream leather interior. I put Bilstein B4 shocks in It. Its not a sport Car. Its in its our class. Very quiet smooth and ride quality is superior. When you hit highway It is a place to chill and watch The journey proceed 😊
The manufacturers are not about "What can you beat", they just release their own big , comfortable, luxury car. It succeeded. Big, Cheap, elegant, The biggest shame was, it was based on the 605 because the time.
Acutally noone can really beat our luxurity at least that's what the crowd things. I guess we there're planny interesting luxuary cars from Cadillac but these are not getting sold in Germany and the rest of europe :c
