I’m 53. I am on my 5th Harley. Im 5’8”, 210 lbs. I too live in Western Pa. In my garage, there is a Super Glide and a 2021 Monkey just like yours. On the wall is a picture from a long time ago of a smiling little fella, about 7 years old, on a blue and white 1971 Honda Mini Trail 50. The little Honda puts a huge smile on my face every single time I look at it. Riding it is pure joy. I’ll never sell it. Ever. Enough said.

I’ve had mine for three years. Love it! Everywhere I go, people point and laugh.

At 80 just bought a Honda Monkey 2023 model 6/13/2023 and it does just what I want, to have fun and so far after only a few days made the right choice.

Thanks for this video. You nailed it right when you said “get out an have some fun!!” I love those monkeys myself but because I’m a chow-hound too, I didn’t think that little motor would carry my fat butt about. Well you just showed that it can. Thanks my man!!!!

I got a 2022 and it’s still a 4 speed, I’m 6 foot 330 pounds so yeah I get all kinds of looks, got the 300lb rear shocks, M-take kit , black widow exhaust, break away billet shifter, 14 tooth front sprocket, reflashed ECM, mirror extender , chrome rear rack, billet frame side seat hole plugs and put a handle bar clock because you will loose track of time, needs front fork upgrade bad! The suspension is junk when you buy them.

After watching 100s of grom videos this got suggested, now I'm sitting here 6'2 and confused 😅awesome vid, new sub

I live a few miles away from you towards Pittsburgh. I just bought my wife a brand new Honda monkey a month ago. I can vouch that I have more fun on it than my big bike. Also, It’s nice to hear that ‘Pittsburgh-eese’ in a RU-vid video

As popular as mini bike have become I can't believe Harley hasn't offered any competition in that market, especially with today's savage fuel prices.

Good to see the little Hondas are big boy friendly, 6' 2" & 245lbs myself but keep looking at the monkey & trail 125's to play with.

Around a town with speed limits below 50's, it is the perfect motorcycle. I love my 22 Black, my first motorcycle. And you are right, having it is like buying "joy"...just having it brings some too, riding is a hoot :) keep2down ;) peace

Driven flat out on twisty country roads I’m getting 105 miles to a US gallon. At that rate, the full tank will take you 160 miles so ignore the fuel gauge and start looking for a fill up at about the 140 mile mark. Although I hypermile my car, I can’t be arsed to drive this bike slowly to see what it’s max MPG is! If you wanna know, you do it! If it ain’t doing 9,000 rpm, it ain’t in need of a higher gear yet! In an emergency, a half litre hip flask of fuel should get you 15/20 miles if you accidentally run it dry!

I call mine my "little shriner" cycle. (Those fellas that used to do figure eights in small town 4th of July parades). I get smiles every mile, and from people at stop signs asking me about it, all the time. Love it. Like Supercar says, get one, and have some fun!

BUT I think I'm getting one of these just for the giggle factor! I'm in Western PA too...close to Latrobe. I've been seriously considering buying a Monkey. How hard was it to find one?

Kick ass. I'm 63, 6' and 265. My biggest problem is whether to buy a Monkey or a GROM. Since I have very little open area (within Mini-range), and have been a serious Sport rider for 45 years... I'm thinking the Grom might be my path. Any thoughts about that?

2022 has a higher top speed, higher compression, longer stroke. All are an upgrade.

I have a 2022 Honda ADV 150 and I get consistently 100 mpg plus. So I assume a 125 cc Monkey ought to do better mpg. 👍😀
