Great video wow you really nailed it on this one great work you really give true respect to the beautiful island 🏝 i am truly greatful hopefully ill be planning a trip and be sharing that beauty!
Beautifully done!!!! I love the Big Island and visiting the tropical wet side. We live in Waikoloa on the dry side because we lived in and retired from Whidbey Island, just north of Seattle. So we have done wet for 67 years and are done with it, LOL. But Hilo side is sooooo beautiful and fun to visit. A lovely video. I enjoyed it. Thank you.
This is very well done. I do not understand why you don't have more subs/views....maybe because youtube decided there was something about your channel they don't like? I've lived on the east side for 40 years and I wish I had another 40 to do it again...In any event, mahalo nui loa and blessings.
moved off kona side 20yrs ago to pahoa ... never regretter leaving 'the white side' of the island .. and I'm white! we need more lava! makes all the weak ones here leave .. '14 you could sit in black rock cafe, maybe 5-6 cars go by an hour! bliss.
Great video footage and narration. Thanks for what you do! Brings back memories of living in Hawaii. Was an Oahu resident for 12 years, with a career in healthcare. Now living in Scottsdale, AZ. IMHO the Big Island is the best island in the chain, but not acknowledged as much by tourism. ( A good thing) We are planning to move to Waimea or Hilo shortly.
How about biting fire ants in your house...potentialy lethal 'rat lung disease', excessive crime, mold and mildew on everything, no beaches , just a few reasons not to live on rainy side big island.
@@LifeontheBigRock Mahalo for the info. May I ask how you deal with the issues he brought up in a proactive way such as mold and crime? Any tips from a local? 🤙🏾
This is the kind of information that ruined maui. People come without intentions of actually living the lifestyle. And thus the problem between locals and transplants.
