Luke James hey man glad you guys enjoyed the album cause I have to say this as a long time krit fan pains me to say it wasn't for me I'll tell you why the sound. It seems like him & yelawolf was in same studio producing each other songs, ultimately I got Same vibe confetti, Aux cord, drinking sessions, the light great songs but rest production was Sami af!! I respect what krit is doing out of 5 3/5 rating.

Tbh it’s good, but a 9 is way too high. It’s way too long and the middle drags way too much for it to be that high. It’s like a 7 for me.

eyyodc it's honestly not that good. It's generic and he's way too old for some of this shit. Like I can quote some of the more embarrassing lines "I got me a girl, but I still wanna Cheeeeeeeeat" Like what the fuck? Shit like that is trash. It has no substance or rhyme scheme or anything. This album is FULL of weak stuff like that. I got about halfway through and heard 0 bangers. Some of the trap influences weren't even inspired. Just sounded like radio shit. What was good about this? I liked 4 44 SO much better

Mermaid Weed The fuck? No bangers? I’m pretty sure Big Bank, Subentein, Get Up 2 Come Down and Keep The devil Off are bangers. Also, it’s very subjective what’s a weak line, most of those lines you mention aren’t that cringe-worthy to me because K.R.I.T. is obviously just having a good time and leaving the more thoughtful and lyrical tracks for the second disc. And I can’t understand how this album is generic, yeah it follows the formula that K.R.I.T. created in his mixtapes but in this album the formula is changed enough to be familiar but not derivative. The first disc is the expensive, banger heavy side of him and the second disc is his more introspective side.

Late to the party. Just heard this album in 2022 lol. Does anyone else cry like a baby during some of disc 2? Namely "Price of Fame", "Drinking Sessions" and of course the spoken word outro which was incredibly heartfelt and just made me feel some typa way. It's like a mix of tears of pure joy that this man is so genuine and real about the industry as well as his own emotions and struggles while acknowledging God/mortality but also being very vulnerable. It's rare to see that in someone who is immensely popular. The fact that he released this on his own label is just the cherry on top but further re-inforces and cements his legacy as a legend in my eyes.

I've been listening to KRIT pretty much since his early mixtapes days and you can tell he's really grown up through his music and is in a different place. He still has those bangers on the album but a lot of the songs are very personal and come from the heart.

Subenstein is the best "my sub" he's ever done. It's too bad this album didn't even chart as far as I know. One of the few albums I actually went out an physically purchased in a long time.

I loved his Cadillactica album and I must say that his new album is incredible. He definitely did not disappoint. I've been replaying this album and have been enjoying every minute of it 😁

This Album literally aided me in being a better person I heard a customer playing "Get Away" at work and instantly felt so many emotions at once that when he came to the counter I didn't even realized all that happened within myself I just Smiled (which I rarely do) So Wide and acted so out of character it reminded me of that one time I was possessed by my inner Fleece Johnson but with complete opposite, incredibly positive intentions.

Dopethrone vinyl, Mgla shirt, and K.R.I.T, that’s a savage triple threat. His mixtapes were incredible...agree on his full-lengths not quite living up to expectations but he set the bar so high early on. Hopefully this one gets him the recognition that he absolutely deserves.

Damn, looking back I forgot Anthony said the album was excellent 12 seconds in the video. Didn't even get to the review yet. Big K.R.I.T. hasn't attained as many accolades as his peers but I'd count this as a huge win if I were in his shoes.
