His accent is one of my favorite parts about krit's style and sound. It gives his music so much soul and character. But I AM from the south. Not the south-east like krit, but Dallas, so his accent is a bit thicker than how the hood speaks round here, but nonetheless it still hits home and is both endearing and sounds hard as fuck when he goes in to me. Love krit. He's damn inspiring.

Depression doesn't give 2 shits about the size of your bank account, the color of your skin, your creed in life, or anything else. After a while it isn't even really sadness anymore, it's exhaustion. You get one emotion a week. And sometimes your brain whispers "die" and you get annoyed and go "shut up". It's a really tough position to be in too when you feel like you can't have any cracks in your armor, for fear that someone might look a little too close. I really liked this review and I live for your guys' facial expressions; hilarious! Congrats on 200k, keep it up guys!

This old country boy likes this song! The lyrics are intelligent and interesting, giving you an inside look at a tormented man. To me the stripped down beat actually gave it almost an old soul music feel. It took you guys a little while to get into it, but that old soul feel hooked me right off. Another great reaction video.

You guys should check out mixed messages from his album 4 Eva is a mighty long time it’s great lyrically and production wise so you both should enjoy it.

Came for the metal, stayed for the Hip hop. This track was not bad at all. Coming from a metal head, it means it was pretty cool. Nothing apart from Jazz can equal hip hop smoothness.... Happy new year guys, wish you the best for 2018.

Metal person here. I enjoy your reactions so much that you now have me checking out your hip hop reviews as well. This song was interesting. I like the message Mr. Krit was conveying. It made sense. I felt myself moving in my seat to the rythym ever so slightly. A guitar solo probably would have spruced things up for me a bit but what do I know? Overall I like it.

Ive been a full on medal head for a long time but this album stuck out to me beyond all genres. This is absolutely going to be a classic album.

Great work guys! Because of you I have actually started to listen to the lyrics and try to understand what is being said. To be honest, I've always just paid attention to the nuances of the music behind it all and singled out individual parts and instruments used in songs, and thought of the words as just a complimentary part of the song for people who listen but don't hear the music. Never realized until watching your videos where you break down the lyrics to realize that it was me that was me listening to lyrics but not hearing them and not the other way around with the music. Now I've found a beauty in many songs including those that I've listened to a million times where it seems like I am hearing it for the first time. I appreciate you guys and everything you're doing here. If you're up for some metal instrumentals, give a listen to anything by Animals as Leaders a shot.

Happy New Years Eve Lost In Vegas !! This song reminds me of a quote a rapper once said and it went something along the lines like "Our job is to make a point and it's also our job as a rapper to be creative with it while still being direct and to the point". What Krit did here was make his point and he was direct about it and he did it while still saying some real creative shit. I thought the beat matched the idea he was portraying and thought he touched on a lot of aspects of fame that was really interesting and dope. Big shoutout to Krit and Good looks on the video Lost In Vegas.

Great song! Man, I love how you guys break down the lyrics because I have a very hard time picking out the lyrics in rap and hip hop. That probably sounds really dumb to fans, but every kind of music requires an ear that comes from listening to that style for a long time. I remember as a kid listening to songs (metal) while reading the lyrics from the album cover (yeah...I'm 45) and it took that to understand what was being said sometimes. Nowadays I don't know what kids do to learn the words. Rap and Country music have so much in common. It's about telling a story, and when that story is real and honest it grabs you on a personal level.

as someone who has goals of being a major rapper I can say that looking at your reactions gave me hope that there are people who value WORTH and CONTENT in rap I never hoped to be richest or most successful, I just wanted to escape that feeling of being alone by giving them them same thing thing that I got. Music gave me gave me someone to listen and give me hope, someone I could vent to and not feel judgement I may not have the "ear" for hits but it was never about that, I appreciate people who listen to the content and LISTEN to what the message is I'm an 90's baby but I was raised off of "old head rap" and Im glad that even if its its the few Im glad some people listen to the message and feel music not because its popular but because it touches your mind and heart it gives me hope and motivation that I can touch people being another "lame nigga with a message" MUCH LOVE AND PIECE

I just found your channel today, and went on a marathon watching videos. I'm a hip hop head who is super lyrics focused, but I'm also a metal head. I'd like to really give you guys a big shout out for the great work you do. I never though I'd see a reaction channel that would be willing to cross genres. I noticed you listened to a Tool song, and I would really appreciate it if you guys would give "Tool - Schism" a listen. As hip hop heads I think you will really dig this song, as it is in my opinion their strongest lyrically. Their tribute band named themselves after that song, so that should tell you something. The music is amazing, while subdued compared to some of their other tracks to emphasize the lyrical content. At least that's what I think. Even if you don't make a video, just give it a listen as I think you will love it. It truly is one of the most amazing melodic poems ever created about relationships. Thanks again for the great work you put into your channel, you've earned a sub and a fan.

This is how I took this line: Green Room meaning he has "sold out" by getting commercial appeal but he is worried he has let the devil in as in the label pushing their agenda on him to use him. He was signed to a major label who ended up dropping him, but he has come back independent making the music he wants

Great vid, little extra background: this song is from the second part of the double album. The first side is the big krit persona, the second side is the much more personal justin scott side. You really should give the album a listen, there are some throwbacks on there that really give me some nostalgia -- the call out to back that ass up on 1999 is just the thing I didn't know I was missing.

Appreciate your analysis of this music both instrumentally and lyrically. The price of fame oftentimes is being a target for many things...good and bad. Don’t like this song but appreciate the message. I always do my best to be open minded to music in general...and then it simply comes down to if it speaks to me or has some creative spark that catches my interest. I found something you might want to hear. There's this instrumental jazz musician called Alfa Mist. He's a hip-hop head who at one point wanted to be a rapper, but later found a passion for jazz after hearing so many jazz samples in hip-hop beats. Anywho, there's this ten-minute track he did called Keep On that's incredibly chill. It has a consistent, catchy groove, a free form bebop style melody, and impressive drumming. I don't know if you'll wanna do a video on it, but you'll definitely wanna put on some headphones and chill to it. It's an incredibly smooth listening experience.
