An OD Transport Mack Magnum and a Kenworth K104 are seen leaving Golden Square ( Bendigo with bridge beams, which I seem to recall were destined for Calder Highway duplication works. Sat 18/11/06
Maybe they weren't popular, yet I love them and this rig looks super cool, especially in OD Transport's beautiful color scheme.Wonderful video Steve, thanks a lot for sharing it with us.
renault bought the mack 80's.renault built 1990 first magnum.after built for magnum e9 v8 mack eng and e7 inline 6 engine.for australian market built mack and renault with cummins signature and isx engine.at2000 volvo bought renault and mack.the last one years mack bulit trucks with volvo engines, transmission, axles and parts...new mack is mack badges mack cabs and hood volvo technical volvo truck.ankhaa battulga
In Australia Renault doesn't sell trucks, so it was sold by Mack under Mack names. it was slightly different than the European Renault. So yes, it is a Mack Magnum :)
@Stian Myrdal Laursen Not entirely. Sure there was no Cummins here, but there were AE500, 520 and 560 in Europe, Mack ee9 engine and ZF manual gearbox which is known to be one of best there is. "Electronic" auto was also offered, but it was utter crap.
