Well the 2 grams could be Big Mac comes in a box and the Jack is just wrapped in paper.

When you consider $8-$10 for 2 thin meat patties, and a tiny bit of lettuce in a bread roll, both of these products are just a total ripoff, especially when you consider the patties are probably mass produced in the millions. That said though, I do prefer the Big Mac. All the Hungry Jacks stuff leaves a weird after-taste in the throat - and as you say, they all taste the same at Hungry Jacks.

Big jack for the win personally. Comes in 2 sizes and isn't the size of a wagon wheel like a 'big' mac is.

Yeah, Big Jack is way better. I had it for the first time on Tuesday and it was delicious. You can tell the patties are flame grilled.

Had a Mega Jack the other day and it was good but I find their "special sauce" a little too sweet compared to Macca's. But then again "The Burgers Are Better At Hungry Jack's."

The special sauce is the only thing that saves the big mac otherwise meh, the only thing i like from maccas is a triple cheese burger 🤤 other than that its HJ's for me, if HJ's used the coles special burger sauce on the big jack then look out coz it would be a winner hands down.

Just food for thought the container the Big Mac is served in weighs 5 to 10 grams the wrap for the big Jack is like 1 gram and I’m not sure about the bags it’s served in I would recommend weighing it without other elements effecting the outcome I would put money on big Jack actually being heavier

I think one of the only differences is that Hungry Jacks burger bun are made and delivered fresh by Tip Top bakeries, note here if you live in North Queensland they come from Brisbane ' fresh' so you can imaginge the time between baking them and delivery, whereas Macca's bun are made and delivered by Goodman Fielder and depending on where you are they are delivered frozen. Tip Top delivers their buns through their vendor whereas up here in north Queensland the vendors have nothing to do with it. I will say that atleast Tiptop bakeries actually make bread rolls up here against Goodman felder that bakes down south and transports up here. It cost one of their vendors one of his best customers because of this.

Over all I prefer the Mcdonald’s big mac, the special sauce tastes better, but HJ’s flame grilled beef patty tastes better.🍔

Mega Jack from HJ's is not bad

For what it's worth, I bought a Mega Mac I think they call it. It was disgusting. It fell apart by the time I got through a third. I threw it in the bin and went for a curry which I should have done in the first place. I am now boycotting Maccas, never to return. Their food has fallen from grace in my opinion.

People have different views about meat/bread/condiment ratios but I'm big on more beef is better. The original hamburger (or junior burger in Australian 1970s parlance) and cheeseburger at Maccas has always been 1/10th of a pound or about 45g. The big mac has 2 little burger patties for about 90g in total. I've always preferred the quarter pounder (about 113g) or, even better, the double quarter pounder. On the HJ side the whopper is similar to the QP but has extra salad (which I quite like) and the double whopper is better again.
