G'day guys, its been a while. Was due for an oil change so in this video I check out the k24 pan and compare it to a k20 sump. While i've got the sump off I also install a Blox baffle - yes they do fit into a steel pan with some minor tweaks

hey hows the front sway bar? i only have a rear bar does it understeer more?

I have dc2 front and back swaybars. I think it handles great for street use. Apparently on the track you want heaps more rear bar to oversteer and then accelerate out of corners. This setup would be plain scary on the street.

Hi planning on building a cheap k swap just like you was just wondering do you have to replace the k20 oil pump and pan or could you just leave the k24 oil pump and pan?, don’t know much so was just wondering

Got a k20/k24 build. It depends what you're going for - in my case the oil pump I changed to the k20 (type s) for a higher rev limit. K20 oil pan is better out of the two

No need to replace the oil pump, particularly if you have a stock motor... Just keep your redline down. Keeping the K24 oil pump will really reduce the vibrations too.

Cool video, but to anyone watching this it’s not correct. The RBB pan is as deep as the dimpled part of the k24a2/crv pan across the entire base. The rbb has a slightly bigger capacity than the crv pan also. Many many builds use the rbb pan with the prb pump. The only exception is with the cl7 rbc pump which has a deeper pickup, in this case the rbc pan must be used. If you are concerned about oil starvation, you should use a proper trap doored set up, and even then I would still overfill the oil by 500ml when on the track.
