Hey, have you checked out Dragon Ball Super yet? It actually gets to the good stuff at episode 28 after the Battle of Gods and Resurrection F retelling sagas. Also I heard the whole manga version of Dragon Ball Super is much better.
Freeza already knew about the Oozaru thing thanks to having employed Saiyans for years, so it would all depend on not getting their tails cut off or managing to avoid getting killed
Hugo Hikari True, though it'd've come in handy against his minions at the very least. Besides, all of the saiyans he employed were weaklings compared to goku and vegeta even during the Namek saga given how surprised the villains were at their power (particularly captain ginyu).
