Cutting eastern white pine in Maine. Not treating any one area entirely but rather running around the woodlot taking the absolute worse formed trees or trees with a health issue. Pulling them out with a 1981 Timberjack 208E skidder. #forestry #logging #husqvarna #timberjack

That 550 has seen some pitch had a 562 get like that damn gloves would stick to it every time😂

It sure has. I have been cutting balsam fir which is tough on a saw with pitch. On the 550s you have to keep them cleaned (outside and inside) or they will have overheating problems. Thanks for the comment!

I like it a lot. Very comfortable and the screen is far superior to a Husqvarna or Stihl. It also a slimmer design which you might not think matters, but when on an off equipment or getting through tight brush it does make a difference.

if ya want to not make a mess ya should cut them log length making hell of a mess this way isnt it?

You have a good point and yes if it was going to be a real problem I would cut them. In general they all came out pretty smoothly with directional felling - misjudged this one a little... Thanks for the comment!
