They always spend way more effort than needed on trailers and teasers, and none of it makes it into the base game in short order. The game is in need of years of fixes and the pace of development is the pace of a game on the far back burner for a developer. Pretty ridiculous of you to try to drive up some hype when there is no sign in sight of this game even releasing in 2024. Moreover, the existing AI in the game is atrocious.
I understand your opinion and frustration but in regards to the game development other similar games have taken many years to get where they are. The easiest one to compare SCUM to is DayZ and it took many years for that game to get a full release and they are still adding updates to it. The current puppet AI and Mechs definitely still need work and improvements but things have been changing (some good, some bad). I have faith the devs are going to get everything sorted out with time. I like to share my opinion in regards to the new information the devs release and yes I am hyped for some of the content and other things I am annoyed/frustrated with.
@@MrGameHunterchannel Feel free to share your opinion. Fact is if the developers spent the time that they do messing around with trailers and teasers on development. They wouldn't need to take the better part of the decade to deliver the game. Had they ported the game from UE4 to UE5 instead of wasting time with .8 pulling all the cars and breaking them from 5 pieces into 25 each, and wasting 2 years on something never requested the game would be farther along. To this day there are exploits in the design of the game which have been in the game since day 1 of EA, and no plans to fix them so feel free to have faith but the best indicator of future behavior is past experience and the past experience of SCUM has been one of slow aimless development 3 steps forward instead of leaps &, always 2 steps back with each update.
